Couldn’t watch this predictable, unfunny excuse for a movie for more than a 10-minutes. Waste of an 800MB download. HD is simply making matters worse.

No one-clicks so far? Guys, first of all, thank you, that you share with us. Really nice of you, but pleeeeeease…. give us a break with these 10+ click downloads. 2 CD releases are already a royal pain in the A$$ with their clicking orgy, but 4 Gigs and up are simply ridiculous! Give us the good old one-click point and shoot downloads by putting it up to adrive, megashares, yastorage and let us enjoy downloading again. My left mouse button is already giving me tormented groans when I see movies offered via RS.

I would always choose 720p but I am spoiled.

I thought this movie was a great yarn.

Shawn of the Dead was awesome, Hot fuzz was meh. This was Mos Def better than Hot Fuzz.

Firstly, 720p is overkill for this movie. Definitely. Ridiculously overkill. Criminy Jiminy Crickets, 720p is overkill.

Secondly, this movie is better than Hot Fuzz. It has a nice message, and the main character’s best friend (trainer) has some witty lines and does comic relief well. It’s a nice story about perseverance without being overly boring or taking itself too seriously.

If you want to watch 720p x264 mkv files on your LCD I suggest using the vga cable to hook it up to your PC. Don’t bother converting it to DVD format you will lose quality. Just get a vga cable and hook it up.

Like I said though, this movie just needs a 700mb rip like this one: Run.Fat.Boy.Run.PROPER.DVDRip.XviD-DoNE.avi

Enjoy, not a highbrow film, but not a stupid american ‘comedy’ either.

Not as good as Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead but still very good and very funny IMO. Obviosuly its aimed at the British market so not so sure Americans and Europeans etc will find it as funny

Whats the story with HD/BluRay DVD rips? What would be the best way to watch it on my HDMI LCD TV? Convert, and burn to a DVD or connect my PC to the TV via a VGA socket on mt TV..? Any help would be grand. Sorry for going off topic.

Just echoing many of the sentiments here. I saw the DVDRip last night and found the movie wasn’t that funny. Very few laughs here and there.
