Roxio Easy Media Creator Suite v10.0.044 Multilingual DVD ISO-CORE

CORE have come out with the latest Easy Media Creator Suite from Roxio, in a nice DVD ISO format for easy mounting and/or burning. This release comes with a keymaker as well so no ugly cracks or patches. Finally, it contains the following languages: English, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, and Japanese. I did use version 9, and I found it too buggy for my liking, I am hoping they fixed the bugs, and gave it a better interface, because I thought that sucked as well. :( Anyway enjoy Roxio’s latest offering, straight out the oven.

The new Roxio Easy Media Creator 10 gives you creative inspiration and all the tools you need to enhance your digital lifestyle. Create, share and enjoy your movies, memories and music as only you can.

Program Features:

  • A 3 step wizard lets you auto-edit your movie. Then upload to YouTube in one click or put it on DVD.
  • Capture and edit HD video and add surround sound playback.
  • Record internet radio, batch convert files, backup your iPod and more.
  • Enhance photos and video taken on your mobile devices and use them in projects with your other media.

In other news… isohunt has stopped US visitors from using their trackers. As of earlier today, we have disabled access from users in the US to our trackers. This goes for ALL trackers (torrentbox, podtropolis) we run. This is due to the US’s hostility towards P2P technologies, and we feel with our current lawsuit brought by the MPAA, we can no longer ensure your security and privacy in the US. So, if you’re outside the US, you may notice less peers. We encourage you to add other public, unhampered trackers to torrents you post, in addition to Torrentbox and Podtropolis’s trackers.

This could be another reason behind why followers of Al-Quayda and similar organisations from 3rd world countries hate US so much! ;) Seriously, Very soon people from other countries will make the best of this series of similar events by hosting on non-US ground thus staying safe from the spoilsports like MPAA etc.

The 5th version of Easy CD Creator was the best and Nero sucked in compare with ECDC…what happened next?

The formerly leader (Roxio) in next versions (from 6 till 8) sucked more and more - so its time for Ahead! And now the new leader is Ahead.

I didnt see the 9th version of this packet, but 8 was with strange and ugly interface, where was no customisable options in diskproject and so on…

If the 10 better than 9 - its good.

….Good old times, when 5 ECDC was my fav…

i’m still using nero6 .. tried nero8 but was too buggy and slow for my machine. anyone think this will work better? looking for a better interface for sure. My main use is making dataDVD for backup and makind the occasional full DVD from xvids. something with a easily adjustable quality setting would be nice .. like to get as much quality on DVD as i can. I often find myself putting a 7oomb xvid onto full DVD and only able to use 3gb of space, as next setting up requires 2 dvd. :S

    ================

Hey, wait a minute…. Does this mean you guys aren’t responsible for releases of thunderstorms and other weather changes either?

Do you release hounds? E.g. “Smithers; release the hounds.”

How about the secret formula for Coca Cola; could you release that?

    ….

    Kidding.

Keep doing that voodoo that you guys do so well.

BTW, Could you point me to a “release” of some sort of .pdf file containing an explanation of the terminology and vernacular regarding “THE SCENE?”

I’m a 40 year old attorney who finds it difficult to read incomplete sentences drafted by pretentious cyber-brats.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Sheesh.

The File sharing scene or just the scene is very complex and political and is hard to understand without some help.

    Dictionary

Release Group - A collection of people who Release files
Topsite - an FTP server that Release groups upload to
Private Tracker - A torrent tracker that is Invite only
Public Tracker - A torrent tracker that is open to everyone
Runner - A runner is a person that transfers files from one topsite to another in return for being able to download from the topsite
Seeder - Someone who has already downloaded the entire file and is now only uploading
Leecher - Someone who downloads but doesnt give back to the swarm
Peer - Someone who is connected to the swarm no matter whether he is downloading or uploading

    General Scene Guidlines

    * Open - Anyone with enough technical or artistic skill can be a member of The Scene
    * Free - All content offered on the Scene must be free of charge and non-profit and art is generally reusable with permission
    * Groups - Individuals who make up the Scene may be members of one or many groups the point of which being that the promotion of work is unified; work published under one group name typically cannot be resubmitted under another
    * No Ripping! - It is unacceptable for a group or individual to take another group or individual’s work and republish it as its own without explicit permission being given! Rippers are usually banned on sight.
    * Credit - Any sort of recode, rework, edit, manipulation or remix must also credit the author of the original, permission from the original author to publish the remix is also a good thing to get somewhere along the line
    * Respect - Skill is the only thing by which people are measured on the Scene; if you are sufficiently skilled you can get into any group you wish
    * Competition - Groups that form The Scene compete amongst each other, each wanting to prove they are better coders / artists than the other.

    FAQ

    What is the Scene?
The Scene is a collection of topsites, release groups that have certain rules of which all groups have to abide by in order to make sure they release the best quality files they can. It is possible for groups to get “scene banned” where they are then bared from releasing for various reasons. What most people see are Public trackers but there are also Private trackers and newsgroups to get files from.

    What is a Release Group
A releasegroup simply is a group of people which releases warez such as movies, games applications, or music on the internet. IRC is the group’s medium to stay in contact with eachother. The size of a group varies, some groups have just 5 people, others maybe 20. Mostly the members of the group don’t know eachother in real life. Trust is a highly important issue. Since the group’s activities aren’t legal, the teammembers have to be able to rely on eachother. If one member gets caught, the other ones are in big trouble too, so security has high priority. This means that for example they talk on private irc servers or through a bouncer, and they connect to their sites through proxy’s.

How do release groups get DVDrips so fast?
They generally have a source who works at the place where they make the cd’s and dvd’s which then snags a defective disk from the trash bin that is perfectly fine except for the ink ran on it or something. This is also how stuff is released before it even goes on sale to. There are also some DVDrips that are really R5’s and are mislabeled.

How do the Release Groups release TV shows so fast
A TV show coming out before it even airs the release groups record off of stations that are based in different countries or satellite tv which air the shows before it is aired in the U.S.

Is aXXo part of the Scene?
Yes and No. He releases good quality but he doesn’t follow any scene rules so he can’t releases onto the scene and thus all his files are only released on public trackers where the scene rules don’t apply. So he isn’t apart of the scene in the sense of rules and where he releases but is in the sense that he shares files. There is some controversy surrounding him because some people think he steals from other release groups but this is not confirmed.

I don’t get it. Why do scene groups care if people steal from them?
Its because of respect and honor among thieves. Yes the release groups are stealing from the movie, game, and music companies but they want the respect and honor that they get when they release it first and at good quality. If someone deletes there name and puts there own on it then how would they get that respect and honor? They wouldn’t and there wouldn’t be any reason for them to get that stuff. That is why there are strict rules about stealing and if any release group is caught doing so then they immediately get scene banned and any site that follows scene releases won’t host there files.

I still don’t get why its such a big deal.
Good for you. keep it to your self

    What is a .nfo file
A nfo file is a textfile with information about the release. The files are designed by ASCII artists and can be read with Damn NFO Viewer or simply with notepad. They contain release information like the runtime of a movie or an installation guide (if software).

What is a Pre feed/How do i get access to one?
A Pre Feed is a database on IRC that lists all the scene releases on the scene. These databases are kept so people know when things are released and for other release groups to know when they shouldn’t upload a dupe file. Its not for me to say how to get access to one. I think there are some public pre feeds but I’m not sure.

    How does the scene communicate?
They communicate over super secure IRC chat rooms. They have passworded rooms that they connect to via SSL and some of them also are encypted via an IRC program called FiSH. Which in order for you to see what people are talking about they have to have the same key that other people are using.
