Probably not in the united states but I still watch it, A friend of mine from England told me about this show. Basically Mr Kemp goes around countries to document gangs, from White supremacist groups to MS13. Really a good show!
British hardman thug he was originaly in eastenders as one of the michelle brothers he was funny but his wife wouldnt let him do the soap anymore so he quit now he has to fly 5000 miles away from her to do this crap its a sad life when you buy a wife.This show it pretty decent tho.

He’s obviously still pretending to be a hardman, pity none of those gangs sussed him, so we could see him run away, screaming for his mammy!

Ross Kemp played a hardman in a TV show so it’s natural that narrow minded people expect that of him in real life. in reality of course he’s an actor, so they rip on him because he doesn’t meet their silly fantasy expectations.
however you look at it, those people here like hibby who feel the need to call Kemp a girls blouse or whatever wouldn’t have the balls to do what he’s been doing the last few years.

Ross Kemp is ex military, he was honorably discharged in the late 80’s having reached the rank of Major and having attained distinguished service during the Falklands war as part of an advance ground force. Although he was not officially a SAS soldier he entered the battle with SAS forces as a ground intelligence officer and he was decorated for his actions behind enemy lines. Kemp’s role in the Falklands is still covered under official secrets and therefore it has not been revealed exactly what his decoration was or was for, those who know him well believe he was MI6 but don’t hold your breath for official confirmation. Kemp has been photographed by the press leaving SIS headquarters on several occassions since his discharge.
Surely any pratt can see that this Kemp knows his way around firearms just a little too well for any actor LOL

Ross Kemp (born 21 July 1964) – so he would have been 18 during the Falklands War, he must have done well to get to Major by 1986, as he was in an episode of Emmerdale Farm.

Great episode and can’t wait to see the follow up. Say what you will about Ross, it takes some pretty big balls to walk into that kind of danger, esp without a weapon. But that’s what front line journalism is all about in the end.

Ross Kemp was born 18/04/1956, most of what is public about this man is incorrect for obvious reasons for an ex MI officer. Yes he did indeed see active service in the Falklands at the age of 26. There has been a pretty obvious attempt to make his real background look unlikely with the incorrect birth date etc. But all genuine info is available on the public record if you care to look. He always wanted a career in the media but his father insisted on a military career and once he finished his active service he decided to follow the career he always wanted.
The incident with the girlfriend was a complete hoax (cover up) Kemp was attacked by 4 Argentineans (3 men 1woman) and the incident looked like it was going to become a huge political problem, SIS created the girlfriend story to feed to the press & the Argentinean were deported.

I watched an interesting documentary about the Falklands the other week. Turns out after the Argentinians invaded the locals formed a resistence movement. Those who had been deemed a problem where rounded up and put in temporary prison camps. A few who had been deported then spent their time doing interviews demanding the UK help them.
It was interesting hearing about farmers forming a supply line for UK troops by night driving without lights over mine fields.

i always hated eastenders, and wasn’t too keen on ross kemp til i watched ross kemp on gangs.

leave Ross Kemp alone!!!!!! I bet you dont have the balls to go out into a war zone and experience the fatal brutality of WAR but he Does! He is an extremely brave person and a great actor but unfortunatly if you get shot or killed at war you dont get back up after the cameras stopped rolling. In Afghanistan he is not acting but facing the reality of war without shooting at the taliban but getting shot at by the taliban! He knows that anyday could be his last out in afghanistan but still goes on to bring, what i think is an extremely interesting and exciting programme. Everybody serving in the british army that is out in afghanistan or any other battlefeilds are emencly brave along with their families and MR Ross Kemp! Every soldier/officer that serves in a battlefeild should be knighted by her majesty the queen (this includes ross kemp and of course the camera men/man and the regiment that helped to protect him out in afghanistan. I think that he deserves to be called Sir Ross Kemp and should be respected as another soldier in the brittish army!

I have a husband serving in Afghanistan at the moment.
Ross Kemp gave a factual and unbiased report on what our men are doing over there. Of course he had to get permission from the MOD and the families of the men that died.
When he stated that the men are not paid enough and need more equipment that was based on what he had seen first hand for himself. Those comments would not have gone down well with the MOD.
We are fighting a war over there that will never be won, however we can only keep doing our best to improve the Afghanis situation. I believe that Ross has given an insight to ‘civvies’ about what serving soldiers are going thru over there and for that I strongly applaud him.
Why does he continue to campaign for a government that has knowingly sent servicemen and women into action without essential equipment if he is so pro military ?
And why is he not willing to serve himself if he agrees that the conflict is not only justified but necessary ?
This and anything military related loses any credibility when presented by an armchair patriot like Kemp.
As for him being SAS – pmsl.
I suppose Euan Blair is now with MI6.
