Roman 2006 DVDRip XviD-HNR
HNR released a DVDrip of a pretty nice thriller Roman, which is a bit weird because its and independent movie with not so independent cast (for example Kristen Bell from Veronica Mars). The plot ain’t so original, but let’s hope the actors/actresses have done their job well enough.
Roman (Lucky McKee) is a lonely young man who earns to find love, happiness and companionship. Tormented by his ungrateful co-workers and trapped in a life of tedium as a welder in a local factory, Roman’s one pleasure is his obsession with the elusive beauty (Kristen Bell) who lives in the apartment in his building complex. When a chance encounter with the young woman goes horribly wrong, a moment of frenzied desperation triggers a chilling turn of events leading to murder. As he teeters between deranged fantasy and cold reality, Roman’s struggle to hide his grisly secret is further complicated by an eccentric neighbor (Nectar Rose) who develops an unlikely attraction to Roman and forces herself into his dark and tortured world

is it just me or is there no audio in the left channel on this

Yea, its nuked for faulty audio. Stereo track only uses right channel, left is dead. But you can set VLC to use right channel audio only, and then your center speaker will use this as a mono source. (If you choose mono in VLC, all you get is silence) I did not find it on http://www.orlydb.com/ but on one of my ftp’s. No proper or re-rip out yet.
