The freakin’ Rocky Balboa DVD Screener. I wouldn’t watch this if it wasn’t for the fact that I really got into kickboxing lately. My dad’s definitely gonna wanna watch this old skool stuff. Well, once again Rocky’s going to knock someone the f*** out like he always does only this time he’s getting back into the game because of some computer generated fight (which isn’t even possible) that’s got the entire country’s eyes pointed at Rocky once again. You will see alot of DVDSCR this time of year. Its Oscar time right around the corner (late Feb. to early March) and academy members as well as hangers-on will be getting copies of the movies to try and sway opinion.

the fix thing is great! after 47 min in the movie u get bad sync.. but the fix fixes the movie… its splits the movie in 2 pieces and then makes one file. it takes 3 minutes

the movie was nice! the quality of the scr was ok (except the sync problem) but it was fixed fast

@ the dude… you extract the things of the winrar in the same folder as the video… distill-rocky.avi and then you click the fix.exe file (looks like a DOS program) and then it fixes the movie.. just wait 3 minutes till it makes the new fixed file for you

sorry everyone…I downloaded the file, sync is off, downloaded the fix, and I’m totally lost. I basically converted the avi file to mp4 type file for the ipod…still have the original avi file, how can I fix it to sync the sound up, then convert back?
okay, I just read my statement and confused myself even. In english this time, I downloaded the avi movie. Sync is off. Downloaded the fix…but cant figure out at all how to ‘fix it’. The avi and the fix are on my desktop. I use divx player, but have a converter to change the files so I can play on my ipod. So…1) how do I use the fix so the avi portion will play. 2) after that, will it fix it when I re-convert it to the ipod format? Thanks everyone…
make sure u have the xvid codec installed, then run “fix.bat” and watch and wait until it fixes it’s self..

I downloaded the fix and put it in the same folder as the video file, but when I click the fix.bat, I get this error message:
“Couldn’t locate decompressor for format ‘XVID’ (unknown)
VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codes, such as those used by Windows Media Player, are not suitable.”
What do I do?
can anyone explain how ‘torrents’ work. I see the link posted by Martin (thanks man)…looks like that will be the whole movie w/ proper voice sync. I have divx player as well as vcl….but for the life of me, I cant figure how to get the torrents or that link to work- wish there was a link where I could just click and the movie downloads. I am very very new to this (obviously). Anyone willing to help a newbie out (I am not into this all that much, but just a huge Rocky fan, and would like a copy). Thanks!!

ok, for the fix you need xvid codec installed, google xvid codec, find the xvid site download and isntall, fix works like a charm.
Torrents works like this, you download a client (program that handles .torren files) then go to sites like Newtorrents.info and download the .torrent file for whatever it is you want to download.
Think of the torrent file as the link to your file. You open that .torrent file with your client, and it connects to the tracker and other peers and starts downloading.
Once your client says 100% complete, your file is ready. You actually download from all the other peers connected to the torrent, instead of a central file server, so you get faster downloads.
Go to newtorrents.info and download the “Bittorrent Bible” that is linked on the main page in pdf format.

Guys, if your playing it in a dixv dvd player, just pause the movie when it goes out of sync. Then play again and vola it is perfect again.

hey guys just finished downloading the movie, there are about forty different files none of which my players recongnise, i have xvid, divx and vlc so im really confused! i noticed that der mvs and theres a rar file at the end of them all, im doin something wrong before i can play dem?? please help!

the voice being off was driving me nuts. after adjusting the vlc player to 350ms it now works perfect. thanks again for the info. now let me go back to watching rocky lol
This is probably a really stupid question but how do you cancel what you have done with Ctrl + K? I was experimenting with it on Borat just to see how it worked for when Rocky Balboa finished downloading. I continued to push it further in the hopes it would revert back to the original setting but now I’m at something like +200,000 ms with no idea of how to reset what I’ve done.
Any help here is greatly appreciated
