Froggy, with IE all you have to do is go into your internet options through Tools or inetcpl.cpl in Run, goto Privacy and set it to high.. then just add your favourite trusted sites if you know there popups are safe.

If the ads are pissing you off and you use firefox install adblock plus, cuts out most ads on sites you visit, makes visiting mininova bearable now, not sure if you can use it with
IE6 or 7???

this is a little off topic but has anyone noticed the effect the Orange advert is having on the site

its realy starting to piss me off !

no matter what part of the page I’m reading the page will sporadically move to the Orange advert

I appreciate that advertising is an important part of the revenue for the site but I don’t come here for the ads ….

someone please sort it out
