RLSLOG’s First Competition
Because of the recent success of RLSLOG, which I hope doesn’t stop here, we’re giving away 3 invites to a private tracker, which is TorrentLeech (TL, probably the best priv tracker at the moment with almost all stuff). What’s a private tracker you say? It’s basically like a Pirate Bay or a NewTorrents, but only for members and you have a ratio which you have to keep above a certain value in order to maintain your membership. Which results in INCREDIBLE download speeds. Obviously this is not for those people who have a very low upload speed because you have to keep your ratio balanced. It works like this, you download, so you upload. No more leeching, which is what’s killing public trackers.
What do you have to do? Well it’s quite simple actually. All you have to do is mail us why you think you deserve this invite above anyone else. The minimum amount of words is set to 100. We don’t limit you strictly to 100 words, if you have a great idea and you’re at 80, that’s OK, but just one sentence will not do it this time. There will be prices for the 3 best entries, visitors and admins will be the judges. So if you really want to try the true speed of torrents, don’t wait any longer, start writing!
All entries have to be posted to “kevin (at) rlslog.net” and be sure to post your username, or preferred name if you don’t comment on the posts, along with it. I will not reply to the entries or any other mail send to that E-mail address so don’t bother. (That NFS:C competition taught me some stuff, now I’m better prepared.) So get brainstorming! Entries that are uninspired and did not entertain me for a second will not even be considered, so think about what you’ll write before you mail me.
The deadline is set to November 29, which means you’ve got 7 days. All serious messages will be published.

I already have a torrentleech account, registered while the registration was open, so I’m kind-of-a veteran there:D It’s a very good tracker, and very very fast!:D
We also have invites for RevTT if you want.
No way is that the BEST mainstream tracker.
As it is, there’s underground trackers that are still vastly better in their community and features than those mainstream ones you see on lists everywhere.

well there is this limit because we don’t want to receive messages like “coz i’m the 1337est”, but we want to see some innovation and ideas. it doesn’t have to be that long as i said, and 100 words with all these english articles isn’t that much…

Beware of TorrentLeech. TorrentLeech suck balls. I had a pretty good ratio there almost > 500 gb uploaded ; about 6-7 ratings. Then i got banned and kicked because the admin there doesnt agree with my theory. Get a life, TL admins! You are nothing but kids. Try drinking more breast milk instead..or cum juice from my dick.

We have 8 entries so far.
Closest to a good private tracker I’m on is Demonoid. Does that even count as private anymore? Its got so many users I don’t see how it could be.

Imho RevTT is the best, tried a bunch of private trackers, but thats the best. For my HDTV needs Bit-HDTV does the trick.
And for all that scandinavian and rare stuff i prefer piratebay =)

I like pie. Quite often, though, the amount of pie I’m allowed in a month is a *lot* less than the amount required to give pieces to other pie-likers. Which kinda sucks, as it means only I can have my pie; if I share it, I’d only be left with crumbs. You see.. the pie providers here in my country all serve under a monopoly .. and that monopoly makes it so our ovens can cook shit loads of pie at any given instant, but limits the amount of pie we’re allowed to eat. So sad.

yeah, crappy torrentleach, it bans entire countries for no reason, ok, they might have some reasons, but still, banning an entire country is no solution, so keep your bloody invites.
TorrenLeech rocks. quicker releases then any public tracker and much more seeds.
torrentleech is ok, i prefer demoniod for all the rarer stuff.
last time i looked they were still accepting new members through their irc channel, but having to beg for an invite is well … most of the releases come on publictrackers a day later anyway.

TL is a god tracker, but is far away to be “the best”. Also RevoTT is an excelent tracker but is in the same bag as TL.
There r really underground scene trackers that you probably never heard about like ScT, FTN, FTWR, FSC, etc. really scene elite trackers.
Yes, TL and RevoTT are good trackers with good speeds, great release times and good stuff, and for most of us that is enought.

Oh common, we all know who the winners will be(atleast i do). The ones who say they have access to high speed internet and full version softwares or pre-release movies, music, etc. etc. You know what I mean? I mean thats the point of this contest isnt it? To find people who can provide these stuff.
