RLSLOG: smooth and steady!
I feel as if I wrote too many posts lately, but this is an exciting time for all of us here at Rlslog and I just can’t help but to write another one. I just wanted to share my good mood with you because everything is working great. I finally finished moving the website to a new, more powerful server. This was a must; simply because all of the timeouts during high traffic times (like during the evenings). I’ve also upgraded a couple of other things–I’ve tweaked the site code, upgraded everything to the latest versions, and tuned nearly everything a bit. The results are quite impressive; the loading speed for this evening was a lot faster for me and hopefully also for all of you readers. The new people in our team are doing impressive work, namely Rabb1t who is trying to shoot me down as the #1 poster, but he still has like 2000 posts to go. I’ve also received many interesting ideas from you, which might become a reality sooner or later. Okay, enough overhyped claptrapping for me, just sit back and enjoy our tiny project

Releaselog for the win!
well done man, keep it up, great site.
Modda , I can’t agree with you more
Tho, about the ‘tiny project’.. 57.000 unique visitors ?
Great man, love the website, hope the team keeps up the good work
I’m Sorry What? Too Many News? – There can NEVER be too many news dude! Keep up the good work.. Luv this site
Nice work Martin. You keep the site going and I have to say are ridiculously active for an admin.
Any chance of some server pr0n for those of us more technically inclined?
Cheers
great site, wish i was part of the team. i realize you guys dont post much during the time i’m on and i usually have a lot of ideas for posts. from 11am to 4am PST (pacific) theres barely any posts
ilbozo: sure, but it’s nothing special at all – Core2Duo with 2 gigs of RAM and a bunch of SATA drives. fedora core, apache, php4, mysql and some caching tools. there’s always space for improvements
someones looking for a job.
why PHP4 when there is PHP5 …?
I think i’m the #2 poster of RLSLOG
Martin #1
and #3…. is far away
SupeS: sure, I’ve been messing with it a bit, but I hate all these changes and the performance also wasn’t that impressive. you know, I’m quite conservative so when something works, I just leave it that way
and about posts during night – this is obviously caused by mostly European crew, but I’ve just enabled Rabb1t’s full permissions so you will be able to see some 0sec nightly posts from him soon.
Keep up the great work
dont stop posting sitenews martin, its so fun to read how your site gets improved all the time =)
keep up the good work!
You are lords. I prostrate myself before the might of the Rlslog crew. I grovel before your supreme awesomeness.
Good job guys, keep up the great work.
Just wanted to thank you for such a great site! I hope you know how much we appreciate the time and effort that goes into this place! Thanks again!!
very nice!
(using the RSS feed, that’s great!)
rlslog is a daily reading for me
keep up the good work
keep up the good work fellas
This is the best release site on the net today! thx for that and keep up the great work! your site is about 100 times a day on my screen and i enjoy every moment on it
greetings from germany! o8
Congrats
Is it just me or have the movie posts become REALLY sucky, we only seem to get info on the qualityof the video whereas we used to get a small synopsis,i feel cheated having to click on the imdb link if i haven’t heard of a movie, all in all though, most impressive
Releaselog rocks my world. Thanks guys for all the efforts you put into it.
Martin,
Definitely the best warez/scene release info site I’ve been to, it’s good too that RLSLOG focuses mainly on the main content, not just random-esk news, et cetera.
Nice work!
Great Work. This Site saves me so much download time. If you say its good It Is. Well Done
Now lets keep it smooth and steady
youre all doing a great job guys.
“guys”… hurm… that made me think… isn’t it about time to have a female editor at rlslog? lol
Agreed this is one of the best sites for films–software etc, its saves time and effort searching every where for stuff….. BUt why have you not got a forum so eveyine can discuss specific things rather than leave comments after certtain titles — cmon releaselog keep ahead of the game and be the best as you have been so far and offer a forum for people to discuss and talk about your site!!!! regRDS caLm
I think that rlslog has been going downhill. I don’t come here for software or hardware news, I come here for releases. Leave the news to engadget and just focus on what you guys do best.
OR just make a way to subscribe to certain categories with the rss feed.
