RLSLOG Forums picks #2
Our official RLSLOG Forums were relaunched few days ago and we added a new light skin yesterday (can be switched at the end of the page). It’s good to see noone complains about the speed now – it’s on a super fast server and loading very smoothly. I plan to post a short article with links to interesting posts, we could connect it with our Best Of weekly posts. If you aren’t registered yet, don’t wait for anything.

There really is no need for ‘forum picks’.
It seems a tad stupid.

Why? Because we gave a small criticism of something?
I think the whole technews/off-topic/forum picks is getting to be a bit pointless. Martin may as well just be posting any news article he finds interesting. Just because this website is about scene releases doesn’t mean everyone is interested in ‘tech news’. It seems completely irrelevant.
I think the occasional post is ok, such as the post about the end of HDDVD, but I would scrap ‘tech news’ and just have an ‘off-topic’ post when needed.
I don’t mind the ’staff picks’ as I have grabbed a few interesting releases because of these. I think these should be able to branch out from only films though. Maybe a ’staff pick’ game or app someone finds useful?
I don’t like it when someone replies to criticism with ‘If you don’t like it then skip it’, everything and anything is open to criticism.
These few ‘paid for reviews’ are a bit weird but I assume the cost of running a website this popular is very expensive.
This is a very good idea and I think should continue….. having selection of best or most informative topics highlighted on this site for those people who dont have time to go through all pages in forum or some people may simply miss some important topics while scanning forum. So good idea.
Thnx again for great idea and keep it going please, like the staff picks.
