    November 29th, 2010 | 16:42

Because Rapidshare changed their rewards policy and thus pissed off the community of uploaders.

I didnt even notice it was down. I only usually ever go there when rlslog is down to see if there’s any news or eta, and usually there is absolutely nothing. Pretty useless imo.

Wow, back. Again. Sorry, but RLSLOG is down so frequently – and the forum even more – that it is hardly worth to join anything.

    @ Denniz,

On your list, Megaupload, Netload, and Megashares should go to the top because they are the only ones without re-captcha (and jdownloader can download files over night).

Also megaupload is the best of those because no wait times between files, up until something like 5gb downloaded (at least for me). its by far the best free aka non-account site to use. Fileserve is absolute **** without having an account because of re-captcha! too bad its the most popular.

    Anon, ok.

Forgot to state in original post that the list was allso based on using browser to download. And not dependent on automatic downloading, or use of 3rd party programs to access sites.

I tried to make a comment on RSL talk a while back about cutting the post time down. When 3 or 4 shows come out at once it takes me 30 – 40 min to post them all. I end up getting pissed off and only posting one show. I am sure a lot of other uploaders feel the same way.

You can download big files from Fileserve the reason why it is the best. Once it makes a download limit it will drop so enjoy it while it lasts, because you know they will.

PLEAZE!! Fileserve is CRAP! you have to have a premium account to download large files from there and then t make matters worse when you sign up for the trial version, what they dont tell you is that you have just signed up for a REOCCURING amount to be taken from your credit card or checking account or paypal account without your permission. You dont know they did this until you get them statements or emails telling you that you signed up for this even though you only may have wanted a 3 day trial account. ANYONE that does this is worth scorn and people need to stay away from it in droves!

Nope I don’t have premium account hell not even a free account and it works like a charm for me. I download anywhere from 1.09gb to I think the biggest file I have ever downloaded (single link) is around 7gb free. So you having issues I guess.

Yeah, but FS’ speed stinks for free users. Most of the times, they’ll feed you at like 80% of your speed, and then drop it to like 10-15%. Megaupload feeds free users at 100%. Also, HF is going nuts deleting links. FS seems to being doing it also. MU does, but it’s fairly uncommon. Their only problem seems to be that they don’t reward U/L :(

If im correct, free fileserve lets you download 2gig max, and free megaupload 1gig max which does suck for those 1.09gig tv shows ;p

Try jdownloader for downloading – its very cool. it even checks to see if the links are active :D also does anyone know if Linux format is available to download anywhere (not p2p) i’d like to have a look through it but £7 is a lot for a mag :)
