RiVER TV x3: The Peter Serafinowicz Show, Secret Diary of a Call Girl, The Whistleblowers
We don’t intend to post info about every new episode of every TV show, but there are some programmes which are mostly unknown to vast majority of scene consumers so why not to introduce them a bit. I chose three new releases from a British scene group RiVER.

Peter Serafinowicz is a cult figure, known by all comedy fans for his show-stealing appearances in Spaced, Black Books, How Do You Want Me?, Look Around You and Shaun of the Dead. But it’s only now that he has his own show – thanks in part to the short clip of O! News he posted on YouTube in 2006. Taking a look at the best, and worst, of today’s TV, The Peter Serafinowicz Show hosts television’s most futile game shows, including Heads Or Tails? and Which Hand Is It In?, and offers “celebrity” interviews on O! News that can’t be seen anywhere else. Through his impressions of familiar faces, Peter creates a world in which the likes of Al Pacino and Simon Cowell mingle with his own quirky creations, such as the impressively incompetent private investigator Brian Butterfield.

Billie Piper stars in ITV2’s drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. It’s the sexually explicit story of a beautiful prostitute who leads the ultimate double life. To her parents she’s Hannah, the legal secretary. Hannah has a responsible job that involves working lots of unsocial hours in the evening. Hannah has her own set of clothes and her own friends. Even her closest pal has no idea about her working life. To her clients Belle is…whatever they want her to be. She can be the quiet girl-next-door. Or she can be the high-heeled dominatrix who whips them into submission. Her mission is to make money by satisfying male fantasies.

Richard Coyle (Coupling, Gunpowder Treason and Plot) and Indira Varma (Torchwood, Rome) star as Ben Graham and Alisha Cole, personal injury lawyers at the same highly successful London firm. They live together and Alisha has just discovered Ben has a five-year-old daughter. Although she’s doubting whether she can trust him again, something is about to happen which will bring them closer together than ever before – something that will take them into a world of few moral certainties. They witness a miscarriage of justice on their own doorstep and, instead of giving in to the temptation to look the other way, they speak out.

Secret Diary Of A Call Girl.
I watched a few episodes of this.
Billy Piper character is awful.The men in it are portrayed as stupid.
I felt nothing for the show and gave up watching it.
Itv bring back Primeval!

I agree, the show tries to be witty and funny but falls flat as Billie Piper cannot act. The only partially redeeming factor is that she’s willing to show some nudity, but even then it’s barely making the grade.

I think rlslog is making too much posts on TV series compared to 2 or 3 months ago. I think this is a waste of available space on the rlslog main/home page.
It is just more and more a copy of eztv with a spoiler on each episode. There simply are to many series to post about with a new episode every week. Keep it exclusive! Why not make one post on series a day and highlight one or two, instead of an individual post for each episode. This way TV eps should get the same quantity of attention as the other categories: movies, games, etc…

I agree with Jurgen.
Though I like my TV torrents, I think it’s not really necessary to post a new post about all TV shows that are aired. If you want to follow that route then, you will have 90% of this site for TV since that there is probably a few dozen episodes a week.

I think when it was shown on itv2 instead of the main itv,
I think they knew it wasnt good enough.
She was the only thing worth watching it for.
I am happy to see Rlslog cover everything and anything.
I also like that they are very quick.
Some things wont interest me as much as others,everyone has their own preferences but overall they do a very good job.One of my favourite sites.

I wish you’d cover shows that actually existed on torrents that you don’t have to be uber-elite private super tracker cool guy to find. Can’t find a seeded Serafinowicz or rogue traders anywhere. But thanks for pointing out stuff I can’t watch…

Secret Diary is one of my favorite shows! Find it terribly interesting as to how, “Londoners” do it! The acting is stiff, however, our images of Londoners is EXACTLY that. So there. Belle cannot act and I don’t care for her-she emotes nothing. Although I do like her best friend and feel sorry that he is trapped. Lots of inconsistencies. “Never the two shall meet” Personal and private for instance.
Who cares! I want more of this decadent seedy series. Heard about the bluetoothing on trains……..is this really LONDON? then I shall get a ticket from the AMERICAS~
