Still having probs with virtual dub, says missing stats file, can you someone please pit up the removed time code version, it would help lots of people having problems with virtual dub

I used Virtual Dub to crop the timer. (video > filters > null transform ) It was the first time i have cropped a movie before and it worked fine. I messed the compression up a little and ended up with 2 1.5GB files but no big deal.

And anyone who thinks this is better than, or like Green Street is an idiot. Green Street is a load of crap. At least this film is based on a true story and is believable.

Best British film in ages.

the only bad thing about this movie is the HUGE timing mark at the top….kinda like the one from the early screener of The Bourne Ultimatum.
Just giving a heads up on quality.
Other than the timing mark its awesome quality.

@40 – It’s a similar concept, but far greater than Essex Boys.

@50 – How the hell can you compare the two (Green Street and Footsoldier). They’re 2 totally different films.

Green Street was solely about football hooliganism, whereas Footsoldier has about 15 miutes or so of it, the rest a totally different subject(s). Football Factory was much better than Green Street IMO. Having a hobbit (Elijah Wood) as a football hooligan is a joke. Danny Dyer fits to Football Factory superbly.

I remember all about the Rettenden murders from TV and newspapers, and this has always been an interest of mine. And, having seen photographs from the actual murder scene, they do mirror that shown in the film.

And the book – Essex Boys, is an excellent read.

British cinema at it’a BEST.

I can’t get this onto disc on full screen VSO rippes it at 16:9 even if you put 4:3 and winavi 7 won’t even touch the file and v8 winavi stinks why can’t there be a desent ripper out there that was as easy as winavi 7.7 they all suck

And yes sites that post DVDRs of DVDScreeners do exist only it takes them 2-3 days longer to get posted becuase all
you idiots are busy ripping this in xvid. And its not just me and my fancy hardware but the rest if this world
is also moving up to hd because its getting cheaper and better. So shut the héll up you little bîtch.
