DoNE is back with the movie Rise Of The Footsoldier, a movie they released in a DVDSCR last month. This time its the DVDRip which provides us with relief from the watermark that was found on the DVDSCR. Otherwise the quality is pretty much the same. Enjoy.
Rise of the Footsoldier follows the inexorable rise of Carlton Leach from one of the most feared generals of the football terraces to becoming a member of a notorious gang of criminals who rampaged their way through London and Essex in the late eighties and early nineties. It is three decades of his life following him from football hooliganism, through to his burgeoning career as a bouncer, his involvement in the criminal aspects of the early ‘rave’ scene and subsequently to his rise to power as one of the most feared and respected criminals in the country. The story concludes with three members of his firm being brutally murdered in the infamous shot-gun slaying at Rettenden.

This might be the first time a negative review made me watch a movie. This review:
The direction smacks of sadism, especially the obvious glee Gilbey gets from filming violent scenes in close-up and, in the case of the bloody shotgun-to-the-face denouement, in triplicate.
a stupid movie about ugly horrible people, presumably to be viewed by stupid ugly people with pretentions of greater stupid ugliness
its a top movie!!! drugs, titties and violence, what more can a man ask for!!! Based on a true story also!
Sounds good, think I’ll give it a shot.

this isnt that bad of a movie.. but it is INCREDIBLY violent for no good reason.
its almost kinda silly in that respect.. i believe the man had a good movie without the addition of all the violent scenes.

Thanks for including the RT information. IMDB action movie ratings have become completely useless, thanks to a bunch of teenage (*) who automatically award every gore-filled flick with a 10.

I tried downloading this file using a torrent from The Pirate Bay and was getting speeds of 20-30kBs (where my max is around 150-160).
I noted that Moviex was blocking all downloads and only allowing me to upload. I joined up with Moviex and used their tracker and speed immediately jumped to around 120kBs. This is dizzy stuff.

Every DVD worth its name these days carry atleast Eng subtitles for the hearing impared imho.

Hey guys i downloaded this one cuz i really like this movie but what’s up with the sound when i play it i hear no voices at all what is that all about ?? don’t you guys have the same problem ??
Watched it, ended up being a crap film. The english accents sound so dumb and bent, like ex-public schoolbioys trying to be hard. The Carlton Leach character is the typical english limey cowrard. Millions of these go to football games every week.

I noticed the moviex message a long time ago and routinely, for months now, have removed them from the start menu before I start running the torrent. If they don’t want to share I won’t waste prescious band width giving them a free ride. I nearly always aim for a minimum of 1.5:1 ratio and always get good speeds. At first I tried joining moviex but found with the first download, there were so few leechers that the torrent sat there running for days before it even hit a 1:1 ratio

At the start of CD 2 the film is out of sync for maybe 10 seconds or so then the image seems to fast forward so that everything is in sync again, don’t know if anyone else has noticed this. Apart from that, it is a reasonable London gangster film but seems to get a bit lost towards the end.
