Righteous Kill 720p BD5 x264-REFiNED

Pacino and De Niro, they are like Starsky and Hutch, except they are a whole world better. For only the second time in Hollywood history, these 2 giant actors paired to be in the same movie. The previous one? Need I say? Yes, it was The Heat, which, despite being around 3 hours long, managed to stay awesome. I haven’t seen ARROW’s DVDRip from 2 days ago, I hope the wait is worth it…

P.S. I’m not counting The Godfather: Part II because their characters never interacted with each other in that movie.

Turk and Rooster, two aging NYPD detectives who have been longtime partners are faced with a serial killer who is murdering sociopathic criminals. They both have personal issues, and when they start working with a younger team, Perez and Riley, tensions between the pairs of partners is inevitable, especially since Turk is now living with Perez’s ex-girlfriend, also a homicide detective.

    This is a good movie IMHO, but I don’t think there’s a need for the HD version. Just go ahead with the SD version and you’ll be just as happy. I would rate it 7.5/10 though…wish Pacino and De Niro would do more movies together.

    @ 2: You gotta bear in mind that I prefer watching an episode of a show in 720p and would wait for it instead of XviD

    @ 4: His latest work as a director was The Good Shepherd with Pitt, Jolie, Alec Baldwin and De Niro himself and a very good movie that was…

    A CRAP MOVIE. Don’t waste your time. This movie is even not good in 1/4 as Heat.

    This movie was alright. Wasn’t great like Heat and it didnt suck balls like Max Payne. But the ending was very unoriginal.

    @6 rupert

    Yes, 720P is HD, (1280*720P), and x264 is a compression format used for HD.

    @5 iX

    I understand that as I do as well, but for some movies I prefer just getting the SD because the HD takes longer to download. A 700MB-1400MB movie takes less than an hour on many home connections, while an HD version can take 3x that, or in some cases 6x, and even 9x in some cases. Also, some people have bandwidth they have to watch which means you’ll want to narrow down which HD movies you download. What if you download this HD today, consequently have to download a movie that’ll look really good in HD in SD the next day because you’re running low on bandwidth. I personally don’t have to worry about that, but just letting others know that this won’t be anything “special” in HD.

    Not worth the download, very bad movie from these guys who seem to be trying to be young again.

    Um……. iX it was Matt Damon, not Pitt.

    @5 iX,

    King ToxiK is correct, it was Matt Damon, not Brad Pitt…can’t believe I didn’t see that mistake. Then again, that was one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. Very slow to develop, very long, and very un-entertaining. If I remember correctly I either turned it off, or fell asleep…or maybe I finished it…not quite sure…I try to forget that night.

    meh, the film is carried by those two actors, story line is pretty simple and you can see what’s coming a mile off, i’d give it a 6/10
