Finally a game playable game under 98 lol, nah it’s not that, I just like the lightweightness, though it seems a bit bloated in size. Ill grab this for sure. Thnx for the pointer
WOW it looks sooooooo much better than when i last played it tbh. also it was more a mash-up of downloaded mods rather than a ‘game’, and you had to have purchased the game to download stuff so i unistalled it.

once u got some cool mods installed u find this game great,,,altho this game is best played online…..so all i can say is ..try it out.. if u like it go buy it… u can only buy it online from ISI.. but its worth the 29 bucks or what ever the price is now..=)….and there is actully a career mode in the game… u have to earn credits and point to get better cars and upgrades…

put it straight on your system, or make a partition and put it there (it’s not like rocket science, just google up “dual boot” if you still wanna keep what ever other OS you are using)
TinyXP_Platinum_Edition_2 is made solely for gaming and comes with all kinds of applications (pre installed and choose able)
there is also another gaming version called “MicroXP” which is supposed to be faster, also made by eXPerience, but I couldn’t get my games to run on it or get an internet connection.
anyway “TinyXP_Platinum_Edition_2″ is so seriously blistering fast and stable, I ‘ve heard from many people (who have older PCs) that were able to play a lot of the new games on it which didn’t run before under their normal windowsXP!
but really rlslog has a great layout and all, but they really post so much crap here, I mean that Britney underwear less story and all, c’mon…

For everyone with the “Can not initialize 3D engine”: Try to set your desktop to a resolution that is supported by the game e.g. 1024*768. Since the game has no setup program it takes the desktop resolution. So if you have a widescreen you might run your desktop in a resolution that the game does not support
This rFactor game its fun. Even runs on older hardware thanks to DX7-DX8 video modes.

pitu, what am I wrong about? They are in fact not bootable. At least the last one I downloaded wasn’t. If they fixed that, then good for them.
And in case you misunderstood me about them “not being made by Microsoft”, what I meant was they’re not integrated by Microsoft. Yes, the core is Microsoft-made, but all the updates are integrated by ETH0 and not by Microsoft.
The newest Windows XP ISO and CD to come out of Microsoft was one with a volume name of VRMPVOL_EN which is Windows XP with Service Pack 2. Everything after that is integrated by other people, not Microsoft.
