ReviewMe: Reg Organizer

Here’s another paid review from ReviewMe. We will cover a fairly useful application called Reg Organizer this time.

I guess every advanced user had to launch regedit at some point and manually edit certain keys in registry. Those of you who did this procedure probably know that this application is working fine, but it could be much more user friendly. That’s where 3rd party registry editors like this one come into the play. Reg Organizer is an extensive and powerful set of Registry tools required for effective System Registry management. This software lets you view, edit and safely clean the Registry. It allows to preview the Registry files you want to import (including the ability to preview files directly from Windows Explorer). It also includes Registry cleaner, which will safely compact, repair and optimize the Registry.

The application’s user interface is much more friendlier than the standard one and there are also many more options and settings. One particulary interesting feature is Defragmenting and compressing, which will speed up your registry after it gets too big or fragmented. The cleaner tools are also fairly useful – they will get rid of useless and incorrect keys and shortcuts, which don’t have any use in the system.

Reg Organizer is offered as a shareware: you can download the limited trial and if you like it, there’s a full version available for $39.95 (single user license). I guess it may be worth the money for people who tweak their computer all the time and work very often with registry.

Wow, it’s been so long since the last ‘paid review’. It takes guts for a company to want a review on rlslog, so commends to the company for taking the risk. Hopefully they will get increased sales and then Martin will make a few more payed reviews.

Who in their right mind would ask for their software to be reviewed on a p2p site. I mean honestly… they know now that people will be out there looking for cracks etc.

well, for one thing, it IS hilarious, to say the least.
OF course the swarm would prey upon the cracked version.
On second hindsight – good publicity? savvy users? maybe the traditional tucows pub stunts just don’t get that much needed traffic these days?
And be honest, when was the last time you looked for appz anywhere else, but on torrent sites? :)

@ Windir, any torrent link dude?? This situation is a oxymoron. Or a hyperbole. Dunno which one though. [Both words sound pompous and fancy]

that RS link is a waste of time, when i try to repair, it tells me to buy the full version.

paid review on torrent site is not bad idea if they have good “anti-piracy” mechanism
