Restraint 2008 DVDSCR XviD-PreVail

In the mist of mainstream movie CAMS we get a nice quality DVDScreener from PreVail. This is a nice and unusual release, considering its an Australian film, which are released relatively seldom. The sample tells me this is a rather gloomy film, so if you’re looking for something to cheer you up, this is probably not something for you. If you enjoy thrillers though, this is probably your cup of tea, and why not try a thriller Aussie style? The 22 people who voted for this film on IMDB sure thought this was a brilliant one! Go for it, as the Cool Boarders would say!

Quality: DVDScreeners are often pretty exciting releases since they appear early on but are also delivered in great quality. The only major flaws a DVDScreener will have are things like watermarks and B/W scenes, none of which seem to be present on this rls.

    Given the deluge of garbage recently this looks promising.

    We don’t make many films here in Australia, some of what we make is excellent (Mad Max,Underbelly,etc) and some is on par with the worst American rubbish.

    As for the movie, seems no one here can even be bothered to post what sits actually like. Never heard of it so it may not be the best movie. I don’t know why everyone thinks IMDB is the bee’s knees of movie ratings. Its the most unreliable rating system for movies ever.

    ok kids heres your education for the day (and no the internet isn’t a substitute for school or socialising with real humans)

    Australia puts out some Amazing stuff, only it doesn’t get seen by the rest of the world, but those in the know keep an eye on the scene over there.
    Trust me when i say that america is a TOtally different race of people compared to australians (ok the sheeple over there all want to be americans,) but for the most part their film making shows all the good stuff that hollywood just cant get to (through the fact that your average american is so wound up, sexually repressed, and generally demented, that their true human spirit is crushed -which shows in pretty much everything america does. (not to mention the pre-school subliminal brain fuçk stuff, trying to turn the world against whatever they are waring with at the time.

    So comparing americas media with any other country is just a fail.

    This was an above average movie, and definitely worth a watch. I couldn’t tell it was an Indy . . . solid performances and good production values. It was a little predictable, but the ending wasn’t entirely expected. Plus, there are several scenes with nudity. Enjoy.

    You know you can just click and see what the rating breakdown is just below the score. In this case almost half the voters gave it a 10/10 and the other half gave it a 1, 2 or 3. So it just looks like the numbers are being fluffed by production themselves. Pretty strange the half loved the movie and half hated it with no middle votes.

He did a coffee ad in Australia not too long ago .. and the only thing good about it was the music. He’s part of a group called Forever Thursday.     Australian (and kiwi) movies are amazing, some of the best films I’ve seen have come from that region.

    once were warriors, mad max, romper stomper, chopper, welcome to woopwoop and wolf creek are the obvious ones, but there are many more excellent releases from there.

    and to blue-eyed-freak, lol – deriding immigrants whilst being a dirty filthy migrant himself. I guess irony goes by a new name.

    breakdown:

    55% – Useless/moronic/xenophobic comments

    40% – Direct download links from people trying to get enough points to get a free premium RS account, helping people a distant second on their minds

    5% – Generally decent comments and/or mentioning the release quality.

    I read on boards more and more that people are turning away from here due to slow release updates, ill-informed or biased posts from members or staff and moronic user comments.

    Get your house in order or you’ll notice the reader base that your revenue relies so heavily on will drop very quickly.
    scenrelease is leaving this site for dead at the moment.
