UK piracy site owner arrested 8:54AM, Tuesday 23rd October 2007
A UK website that was allegedly providing links to pirated video content has been shut down, and its owner arrested. The move is the first such closure of such a UK-based piracy website.
A 26 year old man from Cheltenham was arrested for offences relating to the facilitation of copyright infringement. The arrest came as part of an operation by investigators from the Federation against Copyright Theft (’FACT’) and Gloucestershire Police. The man has been released pending further enquiries.
The site, TV-Links (www.tv-links.co.uk), was “providing links to illegal film content that has been camcorded from within a cinema and then uploaded to the Internet,” says a FACT statement.
“We at FACT have
ADVERTISEMENT
stated very clearly that we intended to pursue those who are openly exploiting and facilitating the distribution of illegal film and TV content and this was the first major target,” says Kieron Sharp, FACT Director General.
“The theft and distribution of films harms the livelihoods of those working in the UK film industry and in ancillary industries, as well as damaging the economy. In addition, those visiting sites hosting illegal content run the risk of downloading Trojans or viruses that can infect their computers.”
Although no copyright material was being hosted on the site, it is an offence under UK law to facilitate copyright infringement. This means that any such site in the UK is vulnerable to the same fate as TV-Links.
“This practice allows people to view any one of a large number of films and television programmes directly via the website. This is illegal under UK copyright law. The ‘users’ are potentially evading licence fees, subscription fees to digital services or the cost of purchase or admittance to cinemas to view the films,” says Roger Marles, Head of Trading Standards.

The “proof” sample has a different bitrate for video than the universal’s sample so I’d say the proof is a fake.
From the samples I’d say universal has better picture quality and this cocaine has slightly better audio quality…pov version has crappy video and audio.

Well, Ive just watched the Universal release with surround sound and I didnt come across any notable problems, it sounded as I would have expected for an R5, pretty good. I may dl the 3rd one for comparison I guess, not like theres much else left to dl.

oh, download torrent version from piratebay, it has it there, just download that file thats missing.
i figured out how to just dl r36 myself. here’s instructions how to dl just one archive. well just for azureus.
To download only specific files inside a torrent you have 2 options:
1.Deselecting files when loading the torrent
Open the torrent through the Open Torrent Dialog
If you’ve set Azureus to open torrents silently with the default download directory go to Files -> Open -> Open Torrent or use Ctrl+O
Simply unselect the files you don’t want to download in the lower table
2.Deselecting files after the torrent has been loaded
Rightclick on the torrent -> Show details or doubleclick on the torrent
Go to the Files Tab
Select all files you don’t want to download
Select Rightclick -> Priority -> Delete
Note: If you select Delete, all partial data downloaded of the selected files will be deleted.

btw, the audio is worse then the Universal release….
Downloaded this, got the part 36 working with it, audio pitch is like 2 times higher than normal……
Also, audio would be perfect if it wasn’t for the pitch. and I mean Perfect!
I wonder why people didn’t like this movie…I kept my expectation very low because of part 1 & 2..3rd installment did a great job..They should have added more battle scene…Hope that part 4 comes in a surprise…
