Resident Evil Extinction R5 LINE XviD-POV

I bet I don’t have to introduce this one to you, have I? Not very active group POV released a R5 LiNE of the new Resident Evil movie! They basicly stole the video source of a russian Scene release (not their own region 5 dvd!), and used the Telesync audio from group 20th. But hey, it’s not nuked! :P

Plot: Years after the Raccoon City disaster, Alice (MILLA JOVOVICH) is on her own; aware that she has become a liability and could endanger those around her, she is struggling to survive and bring down the Umbrella Corporation led by the sinister Albert Wesker (JASON O’MARA) and head researcher Dr. Isaacs (IAN GLEN).     VCD quality reports it (so far) as being a great release!!
    Video: 8/10, Audio: 7/10

    From sample quality
    Video=2.5/5
    Sound=2.5/5

    But I have high standards since all I watch are 720p releases now :p

    Scit do you have any idea how R5 releases work? Why would you say it was “stolen” from the russian source? It’s not any more stolen than the video from an R1 DVD. Sure the audio may have been taken from the 20th release but that happens all the time.

    Scit: It’s stolen from an russian SCENE release. So stolen in the meaning of the word.

    Just downloaded from RS links…
    Video is 8/10
    Audio is poor…4/10, its has that movie theater recorded sound to it…

    I’d wait for a better copy with better sound…

    r5 releases are released in russia on DVD (i think), the ‘LINE’ part means that the audio was recorded separately (the way TS audio is recorded - which i’m not sure what is) and added to the r5 video.

    So what is the source of the audio? Do you have any idea? Because the NFO does not mention it…

    Could it be that the audio was grabbed from a CAM release or something?

    line audio means that the group takes an audio source from the line-out jack in the theatres for ppl who need extra help hearing. then the audio quality is better for the film.

    audios ok
    but stutters all the way throigh the bit with the birds nearlly havent tried it on my pc or 2nd avi player yet
    but thats whats happeneds so far

    about 36-38 minute mark i think

    That part looks good over here (using XP Codec Pack, incl. Mediaplayer Classic). The whole movie looks ok. Good enough to be able to enjoy anyways. Free Usenet download within the hour and unpacked on my doorstep, gotta love it.

    the audio sampple looks better on properR5 but when you got the hol movie from PROPER audio pritty low
    THEN POV IS BETTER

    Audio is pretty poor, distorted, but not badly so, very watchable though.
