Not a bad film imo, first 2 films were better though.
I really liked this one more than the 2nd one. It had more action in it. Nothing beats the original tho.
My first downloaded HD movie. I actually plan on buying my HD movie in the future (BLu Ray), but got this to experiment and practice some video editing technics. Milla Jovovich is the perfect test subject.

So…Out of the 5 or so 720p HD movies I’ve DL’ed in the past, NONE would fit on a DVD5, instead they were all a few MBs over the limit.
Can anyone confirm that this one fits on a standard DVD5?
I don’t understand, if they don’t fit on a DVD5, why don’t Scene groups encode them to fit well on a DVD9, therefore improving video and audio quality.
Sorry for the rant, it’s just that I have 20 odd GBs of HD .mkv files on my computer’s HDD that I can’t rip.

Bytebuster you are right but first 2 were mpeg-2 encode and they look like sh*t, Sony is going to releases all three films in one package with different codec and much improved PQ so I think new rips will be made, not by scene but some p2p will do the job.

This might be a stupid question, but if something is ripped from BluRay and is then burned to a DVD, do you need a BluRay player to play the burned DVD? Or is BluRay just the type of source and once it’s ripped and burned, can be watched on any DVD player?

I have already tried that, it did not work. Windows would see the file on the DVD, after spending a minute or two opening the DVD, but it would not play.
Luckily, I tested that on a DVD-RW, so not all was wasted…
Is posting questions about other movies against the rules? or for that matter asking questions that are about the rules?
@tom As I know ImgBurn is useful application to burn image files .iso .uif .daa etc. or create image file from data. With Nero 8 I didn’t had any problems with burning .mkv container, I just switch to UDF mode when burning files bigger than 2GB and that is it. I hope you already resolve your problem

I sometimes have to open winrar first, and then open archive within the program
* make sure to show “all files” when you look for them, since you probably won’t be able to see them with “all archives” *
