Here’s RELOADED bringing us the first big release, with yet more to come. This is Resident Evil 5, a 7gb game from Capcom. Will certainly play this one till NFS Shift. And if Shift is Shit, I’ll continue with this game;) All the details are in the nfo.

Description:

Produced by series veteran Jun Takeuchi, this next-generation follow-up to the terrifying series introduces the theme of escape as its core survival instinct. As Chris Redfield (former S.T.A.R.S. member and now part of the BSAA unit), your life is in danger as you strive to complete your most dangerous mission yet in a sweltering desert colony where a new breed of evil has been unleashed.

Swarms of marauding evil beings will charge at you when your pulse is racing at a heart-shattering pace. Environments will play a bigger factor than ever here, using the power of next-gen systems to create a world where terror might lurk in any alcove or shadow.     Game runs great (about 100fps in the benchmark on 1280×720) so don't worrie about those specs

    Only thing I want to know if it's possible to turn the japanese text into english cause that would be helpfull :)

    Does anyone else get this when they install?

    Error 1335. The cabinet file 'data1.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from CD-ROM, or a problem with this package.

    Im running windows 7 64bit, gtx 295

    Ive tried installing from disc and ive tried extracting the contents from the .ISO and every time i try to install i get that message after about 10% intalled.
    ive done the above numerous times with no success.

    Any help much appreciated.

    plays great 100fps.bit jerky but runs fine on 64 vista..all sounds and language is english here..brill..will play tonight i think.

    @mr. mdma you do know Rapidshare atleast has a manager which you just copy and paste the links in it and it downloads, and its just about 300% faster than torrents. i took a shower while this downloaded and it was done when i got out, 20 mins or so

    If your game installs to japanese, you can easily change it by running the launcher in the game directory and selecting English text from the language option upper left corner.

    nevermind about the requirements. my acer 5920G with geforce 8600M GT can handle the game nearly fluently and the graphics still look good.

    Nice game.
    Just played a bit and works fine in Vista 64-bit.

    Keyboard and Mouse controls works just fine.

    And in the Launcher you can choose English and everything works fine.

    Nice game. Now I only have to wait for NFS Shift and Batman: Arkham Asylum (the proper scene release).

    for all those that have trouble installing try unpacking the iso, use the setup.ini that someone else posted here to make sure its in english then delete the gfwlive.exe but make sure you have gfwlive installed from the m$ site before you start the res5 installation then it should install fine, thats what i did and now i'm playing in windows 7 ultimate x64 with english subs and voices. i notice the gfwlive file that was on the disc was causing all the install probs on my machine. have fun playing.

    Anyone have problems with 64 bit or sound.. i fixed it by setting install menu to correct settings.. its has 2 ..
    first setting is for playing in my wifes underwear.
    and the second is for playing fully naked ..

    DUDE! I don't know what game you're playing but for me mouse/keyboard works oh so much better than gamepad, with mouseaim I can actually hit the enemies. The main reason I stopped playing RE5 on my PS3 was bad controls…

    I really wish they add movement while aiming to next RE (if they ever make one), but this one is definitely best port from capcom ever, and it runs great on 1920×1080 on my athlon x2 and radeon 4850hd with dx10.

    IT DOES WORK IN WINDOWS 7 64 BITS!

    I've tried to co-op using Hamachi and we can see each others server but when we try to connect we get a message saying "The game sessions has been canceled".

    I've searched through google and i found out that even players from X360 have this issue and there doesnt seem to be a fix.

    I hope someone can overcome this issue and tells how to, because co-op seems much fun.

    So, bottom line, it does work in Windows 7 64 bits and the co-op doesnt work for now, at least the way i tried it.

    Hope you guys have better luck.

    Installed perfectly on my PC (Vista x64). I have a slight problem in the very first chapter of the game when Chris and Sheva have to fight off the Majinis after the cutscene when the informant gets executed.

    After surviving the first wave, a second wave of enemies along with the executioner are going to attack. However, there is supposed to be a particular in-game scene where the Majinis break a hole in the 2nd floor. This does not appear and only shows a black screen with a purple line to the left but gameplay resumes after that. (Played PS3 version before).

    Anyone experienced this?

    I'm playing in DX10 and I thought it was a DX10 fault but same thing occurs with DX9.

    Overall the game runs perfectly at a constant 60FPS but on cutscenes (maybe game did on purpose on DX10?) cutscenes go to 30FPS. My rig Vista x64, Intel Core i7, 6GB of RAM and ATI Radeon HD 4850. I can run everything maxed out, resolution of 1920 by 1080 and 8x AA.

    It looks like the links from Netloaded are from a copy with corrupted executables. I've downloaded the game from their links of Megaupload and I'm not able to install it, a message pops up saying "the executable isn't compatible with x64" or something. Someone can confirm this problem?

    I have Vista x64 and I downloaded the Megaupload links with Jdownloader and installed RE5 with no problems. Try accessing the "setup.exe" within the ISO. Also allow anything that is encountered by VAC during installation.

    there is two versions floating around, one is corrupt and won't install in 64bit, the other one is fine.

    The game doesn't work with Ati X1xxx cards and i don't think either capcom or Ati are goin to fix this >_<
    It's time to move on, my x1950 xtx it's getting old i'll buy An Ati HD 5870 as soon as it's released can't wait to play this game i love resident evil

    if you have your game in japanese, follow these steps:

    uninstall the game. extract the rld-re5.iso with winrar to a folder. edit default language in setup.ini to:

    [Languages]
    count=9
    default=409

    run autorun.exe again and voila! you have that heluva game in english ;)

    i finished on PS3 no problems and multiplayer is great on this game. I think is better to buy it and play it like man :D . BTW i like pirated copies too

    it works like a charm with windows 7 x64. had no probs installing and cracking it, expect random crashes after a while the game is fully playable without any bug… long time ago i played a game with no bugs in it.

    i'm nearly through it and the graphic quality is awesome… and i just have a geforce 8600M GT and a 2GHz dualcore

    Installed to win7 ultimate 64 bit fine…

    Runs great on full settings with amd athlon 64 x2 dualcore 4600+ 2.41 ghz and 4gb ram nvidia geforce 9600 GT OC 512mb

    Also like most releases out at the moment Except section 8 my gears of war cd key worked fine to get windows live to sign in no problem online :)

    Anyone using x64 or Windows7 who cant install, Try RIGHT-CLICKING on your virutal mounted drive and click, open auto-run, then select the RE5 option, it will start up the installer.

    Worked for me, Im using the same Image on WINXP and x64 Vista Pro on laptop.

    Mine works fantastic on Windows 7 Pro 64bit with an ATI Radeon 4890 1gb xtreme. Except I too am now experiencing the black cut scenes with the pink bar towards the top. Anyone else experiencing or find a fix?

    Found out that it was anti-aliasing that was causeing the blank cut scenes, I would prefer not to play the 2nd half of the game without 8x AA, i will be waiting for a fix.

    Need for Speed: Shift is one of the next installments in the long-running racing video game franchise Need for Speed published by Electronic Arts. It was announced in January 2009 as part of a three-game announcement that includes Need for Speed: Nitro and Need for Speed: World Online.Shift is under development by Slightly Mad Studios—who, under their former name Blimey! Games helped develop GT Legends and GTR 2 together with SimBin Studios—with help of Michael Mann (EP at EA Black Box) and Patrick Söderlund (senior VP of EA Games and head of DICE). In the new franchising model for the series adopted by EA, Shift takes its place aiming at hardcore gamers and focusing on simulation racing and drifting rather than the arcade racing of previous titles in the series. It focuses less on street racing and more on simulating the driver experience and is being described as a racing game built by racers for racers.

    2. Install the game.
    3. Copy the crack from the included Crack folder to the installation dir
    4. Play the game.
