Resident Evil 4 v1.1.0 EU Patch-FLTDOX
I’ve received a short email with news suggestion so here it is – I’m sure more of you will be interested in this update for Resident Evil 4. EU Patch 1.1.0 brings a lot of new stuff into this scary game. The initial version was somehow bugged and it’s no wonder patches like this appear now to fix all the mess which remained in the game from producers. The patch also changes the graphic interface of the game, adds new textures (sample), fog, enhances all these effects and so on. To make the long story short: if you play this game, you should install this patch for sure.
One more detail: if you experienced these weird problems with mouse aiming during playing, try installing this Mouse Aim Fix v2.0, which could solve this issue.
The v.1.1.0 patch for Resident Evil 4 introduces general adustments and improvements to graphics, lighting, and effects and fixes a rare issue causing the game to freeze when skipping cut scenes. The above fixes are fully compatible with save data from version 1.0.0.

This game sucks, big time. I used to be a fan back in the day (PS2) but times have certainly changed since then, and this port is just unacceptable. In short its cack.

To me, MouseAim version 1.X worked with Netshow’s Biohazard release BEFORE the patch, but not after. Also the 2.0 won’t work with the patched version (no intel on pre-patched with MA2.0 compatibility).
So keep that in mind if you decide to use the EURO patch (which didn’t install without a fight, btw). I’m no expert, so this might very well just be something on my end…
Nice… less than 5 minutes later I noticed there was an updated dll file in MouseAim’s website. MouseAim 2.0 now works for me. Here’s link to that dll file:

I just put in game installation directory replacing the previous .dll which came with MouseAim.
Just don’t expect anything… Mouse aiming is still kinda flaky and unreliable. The ability to change sensitivity with 2.0 didn’t make much difference. With lowest sensitivity aim just moves slooooowly and suddenly makes “massive” leaps, like for a fraction of a second it uses the highest sensitivity setting, making aiming pretty challenging.
But yay for mouse aiming! And sweeter graphics!
is the patch applicable to the release by NETSHOW?
I patched the NETSHOW release with EURO patch. However, I did have to do two things first.
1. Go to your start menu->run->regedit, then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CAPCOM\biohazard 4
and rename it to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CAPCOM\Resident Evil 4
2. Find the euro version original unpatched game.exe (which I can’t find anymore. Damn.) and put it in installation folder before patching.
After that patch did its magic (took 5-10 minutes though) and it worked. If you can’t get the original euro game.exe, there’s one more trick you can try. Before patching, do the registry tweak above, replace the game.exe and the Movie folder, then run the patch. Not sure if it works but I guess it doesn’t hurt to try.
And by ‘replacing’ I mean ‘relocating’, ‘move to somewhere else before running the patch.’

Cam, thanx for your info. I couldn’t make the patch work, but after I put back the original Game.exe file, it worked perfectly. It does take it’s time indeed, but about 10 minutes later (after replacing the original with the cracked file, I could play again.

I have the RE 4 HATRED version downloaded from isohunt.com. I use Daemon tool to mount the image and install the game. Question 1: DO I COPY the file game.exe(6MB) in the folder HATRED to replace with the orginal game.exe (10mb) ?
HOW ABT the EU patch ? which step do i need to finish 1st ? : replace, then install patch ? or vice versa ?

3. Download the crack (sepatately for the update) and copy it to your game installation direcroty. Don’t use the crack in the Image’s HARTED folder, as that one is not the ‘updated’ EXE.

2. Copy the crack from the HATRED folder to your game installation directory

However, it doen’t improve much of the game. the mouse is kinda fast, and hard to control to aim right at the object.

I have tried daemon tools and also alcohol 120 to mount the IMG. and when i go to try to access the drive i get this stupid error saying, windows can not access this disk, disk might be corrupt….
Hmm, NizmoZ, i would suggest re-verifying your file with whatever client you may have, being as your disk may very well have been corrupted if you performed any sort of disk-freeing up utility whilst it was downloading…
Other than that, I am having some amount of difficulty installing this patch over my RE4 game, as now whenever it gets to the actual gameplay time, the game shuts down/crashes on me and brings me straight back to my desktop. I have tried this both in fullscreen and in windowed mode and get the same result, and set the settings all to default. everything works movie wise and all until i get to gameplay.
I’ve reinstalled twice, with and without the patch, and of course with the no cd patch, to still no avail. Still the game refuses to play after the game has been updated.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Can someone please work on mouse aim for the UNLEASHED version of RE4? Or is there a way to get mouse aim thats out now to work on the UNLEASHED version?

I Can’t get the patch to install. i have an original Retail Purchased EU copy of the game, but when trying the patch, it says it cannot find the install path. THe path is listed in the registry, and points to my Resident Evil 4 Directory perfectly. I tried renaming as mentioned above, but it still comes up with “cannot find install path”
So I installed the game on My Girlfriend’s PC, adn the patch does the same. I redownloaded the patch from another location, still the same thing. I really need to get this path working!

My total Hours playing is 10 Hours. I don’t wanna give spoilers, but let’s just say I was 99% through the game, there was only 1 room left, but yesterday, when I wanted to finish thegame, I loaded up my last save,and it threw me back to a point where I saved more than a hour’s gameplay ago. I went through all my saves, and the newer ones are gone

Also if anyone is getting the “cannot find install path” thing when updating i think you just need the original files in your re4 folder. that mean no mouse aim files can be in there im sure (for me it seemed so). so make sure u take out that dll. Also i had a problem where i dled netshow release but 2 movies or so were diff the normal ones i dunno why im sure its corrupted but they were diff files so i couldnt install the patch and gave me same problems.
damn it. every time the game crashes at the beginning of the intro. There comes a black screen and the game shutsdown. :E It happens with or without the patch. Wanna play this game so bad.My comp: amd athlon 64 3000+. 1gt of ddr and a radeon x800 256. Should my computer be able to play the game?

There is some problem when u installed eu 1.10 patch with mouse aim but u can fix that with MouseAimFix. After installed 1.10 patch set up ur controls on keyboard, visit http://www.mouseaim.net.tc find MousAimFix (Dinput8.dll) copy this file in ur installation directory of game and try to start “Loader.exe”.
I have the Unleashed release of Resident Evil 4. I patched up to 1.1.0. Afterwards, I applied the No-DVD crack by FairLight, up for download at GameCopyWorld.com.
My problem is, after I patched, the only things rendered, as in, that are shown, are objects, the animated stuff. The rest of the game world is just a black void.
Now, I tried using 3D-Analyze v2.34, but unfortunately, I don’t know my way around it. More precisely, regarding the options we can check.
The patch brings improved graphics and that may be why. However, even the objects, all that I can see ingame, don’t seem to be rendered with lighting.
By the way, I’ve tried reinstalling. Solved nothing.
Any help would be appreciated.
I’ve got the original Asian version of Biohazard 4 (Asian title)and wanna install this patch. I was told that the patch only works on the European release of this game but I heard that there’s some patch that can turn the asian version to european?
Also, I’m having problem with the cut scenes. After 5-10 seconds the cut scenes will crash and the screen will turn black. I have to press escape and the game will take me to the loading screen. What could be the problem? I’m using a not-so-powerful ATI X550. Already updated the driver and I still have the same problem.

War god, tell me when u start a game on main screen did game name is Biohazard 4 or Resident Evil 4? And did u bought game or downloaded from some torrent?
Damn!!! After updating I start the game and it runs ok, but, when I´m entering to actual gameplay the game shuts down and no error message is shown. I have an ATI radeon x700 pro. Does anybody has run the updated game having an ATI graphic card????

My mistake. It wasn’t working last night when I tried, but I think they were running maintenance. It’s working now.
This game maybe good on PS2 or on GameCube But, I Admit that the PC port of this game is not what it intended to be! The PC keyboard control of this game sucks! Why no Mouse controls?
It’s a shame that porting of this ultimate game has been done as a formality! The graphics quality of PC version could had been much more better if some effort had been put in it’s development! It seems after having played Half Life 2 ,Prince of Persia Series etc. that this game is far more worse looking than it could had been! The Buildings, Enviornments are not realistic! It seems that I am forced to play a PS1 game again! Even Prince of Persia was ported! But, it’s visual quality remained preserved irrespective of platform! Why the hell the developers worked so carelessly??? They are big suckers!

to NeoAks007, if you start the game and you see “biohazard 4″ that means you have the asian version (like me).
There is a program that lets you have mouse support called MouseAim 2.0. Download it from google and then put the files in the .rar into your biohazard directory. If it’s still not working post here.
I have the UK/EU version of RE4 but when I install the EU patch it gets to about half way into the install and then I get a runtime error. I can’t find anywhere someone with the same problem.
I have the 32 bit version of Vista and run the un-patched version without any problems.

I worked out you have to run the patch as administrator with Vista then it installs fine.

To Install the European Patch on Asian Version of the game you need to change the game installation folder (Folder where game is installed) name to “Resident Evil 4″ from existing “BioHazard 4″.. Also you need to change the Registry Keys :-
“HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CAPCOM\BioHazard 4″ to “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CAPCOM\Resident Evil 4″” (Rename Biohazard 4 to Resident Evil 4). Also Change All the Occurances of biohazard 4 to Resident Evil 4 in the registry using FIND (Including PATH key in above location). THis worked for me as I too have asian version of game. Maybe this may work for you. And this patch rocks! It really enhances lightning,fog effects and adds some textures. If you waanaa play this game you need it along with MouseAim 2.0 (See Links above in fourum) for adding Mouse Support in Game.
As for red-cat_eX Just try to install the European Patch instead of Asian to European Patch in this Asian version of game. This might solve your problem as your problem may be due to faulty patch!

I forgot to tell essential points. Before running the patch and doing what I told earlier you need to download the original game.exe (If you have cracked version of game) . Download link:- http://files.filefront.com//;7572260;/
Then put this file in the Game installation folder (paste it in place of cracked game.exe). Then run this patch. After patch is installed you need to get cracked game.exe of patched version v1.1.0 from :-

Then paste cracked game.exe in place of patched game.exe. Then updation is over!
But these steps are necessary if you have cracked pirated game. For original no need for this. For rest of information read the previous posts. All issues have been resolved.

When i replace the game.exe an error occurs and the system tells me no disc inserted and to insert the original Resident Evil Resident evil CD/DVD. Do U or any one know what the problem is.

Have you updated the game with patch?? This error occurs when you double click on that file for playing that game. For playing the game you need to download the cracked game.exe from http://www.gameburnworld.com/gp/gamefixes/residentevil4biohazard4.shtml
Download the file of version 1.1.0 after you are able to apply the patch!
Then place this file in the installation folder overwriting previous file!
Still more problems then provide the complete descriptions of what you have done so far and mention the exact problem!
As for taskon download the updated DInputHook.dll from :- http://netcoders.be/rainerstoff/DInputHook.rar
And replace previous file with it!

I installed the euro patch then the updated crack on the hatred release. It all seems fine until i start playing the game and there is just a massive black void of almost everything. I can see the leon model, a house, and some birds flying, but every other texture is just black.
a guy above had same issue, anyone know how to fix this?

I have tried ealier instal patch on biohazard 4 just rename to re 4 in registry replace onlye exe from asian to europian (i was copied exe from orginale-exe folder) instaled game instaled patch but same shit i remember when i tried first time instal patch i saw leon model now i cant see anything ony watter texture if i load game or game crashes when i press new game.

Maybe your system is low on graphics hardware! The patch has a drawback that it reduces the frame rate as of new effects added! Try lowering the resolution of the game using Setup Tool. This may solve your problem!
And for red-cat_eX and unknown maybe your graphics hardware is causing the trouble. Try getting latest drivers of your graphics hardware and try using 3D analyzer to play the game. Maybe your graphics card is low on features. Can you tell the exact specification of your system ?

I have a geforce fx 5200, 512mb RAM, 2.14, and windows XP, my geforce has low memory tho onli 128mb. could this be a problem and wen i open the setup tool im not given a resolution option

That’s it. In Window Size try reducing the value! Lower the setting faster the gameplay! Don’t forget to save after making changes!
For puffy try using 3D Analyzer for playing the game. It’s weird that it’s giving problem in 6600 GT and on the hardware that red_cat_eX is running! Can you tell exactly what your game release is and which patch have you applied? Try using dxdiag.exe to check if your graphics hardware is working properly! Maybe it’s due to faulty patch! From which link did you download the patch?

today i reinstaled it patched with asian to europian patch and cracked with 1.1 crack i saw some foge and shading, so i changed exe from orginale-exe folder patched with europian 1.1 patch and cracked with same crack and it works now. but i have problem with fmv when it plays it ends and i saw only 3d renders from that scene no chars no voice when at same time when fmv ends i can continiue my game. sorry for english im lithuanian.

It’s nice that you are able to play Biohazard 4. As for Full Motion Videos ,you may view then separately in Windows Media Player if they are not played in game! But that will ruin the story! It’s certain that the Asian to European Patch is faulty! So, you may try to re-install the game again and apply only European Patch instead of Asian to European Patch as you did earlier! You can take the backup of “SaveData.dat” found in game installation directory before installation as it contains your save games and after installation replace the installed “SaveData.dat” with this saved one! And you will not lose your savegames! Why you are not able to view fmv’s is most likely from corrupt renderer!
Sorry, Faulty playback module in game engine may be reason of fmv’s not working instead of game renderer!

hello red-cat_eX I know that but its only in the village arena isnt it and i grt this because patching is a big headache in the different versions of the games+you get the easy mode and everything will work good in the further rounds, if you have n-vidia just make on antialiasing manually and in the ati in the control panne.

hi yall i’ve been threw all these posts and still i don’t get it. i need clear steps or maybe one on one speech on getting the patch to work. my first question is what version is my game asian or europe? i bought it in california in walmart, the cover and main menu says resident evil 4. second, i’ve download ed the europe patch v1.10 and when i open the exe. an error messege comes up; no game requiring an update is installed on this computer. which of course i have it installed and in the default location. how do i make it to work and installed the patch. and i want to know how to make the mouseaim loader to work because i tried it but when i load it up using the mouseaim loader program and load up my saved file its like i never did anything out the ordinary also do really need the 3d analyzer to make work if so how do i do it? please help

I have downloaded Resi4 (Resident_Evil_4_[PCDVD][Multi5-SP-EN-FR-IT-DE][www.newpct.com]_=mininova.org=) and it works great. I have also installed Patch 1.10
BUT
My Mouse aim doesnt seem to be activated. I have downloaded the mouse aim (the link that was provided on this page right at the top) and i copied the “Loader” file (the mouse aim file) into my game directory. I opened the mouse-aim-loader thingy, then i set up the sensitivity etc etc
I click Load Game….start a new game (as ive just got downloaded it and i havent played it yet) but the flipping mouse aim doesnt work!
Argh! Someone help!

Well people thanks everyone for your advice, here is what I did and everything rocks on my pc:
First of all I got a AMD Athlon Xp 2.6+ with MSI KT6 Delta motherboard, Kingston 1gb ram (433 mhz or so), Western Digital SATA 120 GB, Asus Ati 9600 XT/TVD, Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS, Asus DVDRW, etc etc, WinXP, Biohazard 4 (asian edition, downloaded the first day it was released so I can’t really see which is the original torrent I Got it from but if memory serves me correctly it was from http://www.isohunt.com ).
Well, here is the procedure in a few simple steps. Take into consideration I faced MOST of the problems mentioned above. I downloaded the package with the asian to european patch and the 1.1.0 patch version etc found in filefront.com (240MB).
1)Uninstalled EVERYTHING having to do with biohazard 4, including all remaining folders, files hidden or not (via search), regedit links, just about EVERYTHING.
2)Updated my graphics card drivers and directx to the latest (for Windows XP) and the moterboard (I know boring but necessary imho).
3)Install the game from the disc using the included serial number in the folder of your preference. DON’T replace the game.exe with the included crack in the dvd.
4)Move from the main folder the files GAME.EXE, SETUP.INI, SETUPTOOL.INI to a backup one out of the capcom folder. YOU DO NOT NEED THE ORIGINAL.EXE game file unles you ‘ve run the game even one time.
5)Install the Asian to European patch. It WILL work fine.
6)Move the game.exe from the ORIGINAL-EXE folder created by the patch to the main biohazard 4 folder.
7)Open regedit.exe and edit ΗΚΕΥ_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE>CAPCOM>biohazard 4
to
ΗΚΕΥ_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE>CAPCOM>Resident Evil 4
8)Execute the .reg file found in the downloaded package just to be sure.
9)Install mouse aim support.
10)Replace the dinputhook file with the downloaded one from netcoders.be (link given above only 28kb i think).
11)FINALLY replace game.exe with the cracked 1.1.0 so that you don’t need the original disk to play.
12)Put you savedata file if you’ve kept it backup, it WILL work fine.
Do nay graphics settings and that’s it!
NOTE: To play via gamepad you need to run the game.exe file. Keep in mind that the PLAY-RE4 on desktop is for use WITH mouse and keyboard only. So go to start menu and modify in the capcom->biohazard 4->biohazard 4.ink the targe to be game.exe and NOT the default launcher.exe . Copy it to desktop if need to (or modify it from the desktop if you had created it during the original installation).
Personally I use Thrustmaster Firestorm 3 and the game rules! I Finished it 6 times with everything unlocked and STILL play it!

guys who say PC graphics of RE4 sucks like hell will perhaps correct themselves if u watch the gameplay screen of a successfully patched PC version. It goes comparable to gamecube graphics of gameplay or “should i mention even better than gamecube”. it’s just absurd to run a game like this on even a recommended graphics card like geforce 6600 the 1999ish style. As a result score 7.8 to 8 is what this game receives thru a lazy porting job. And a 9.6 on popular consoles.
U can follow the steps of jail bird’s above…mine can be a hassle but followed almost similar steps.

i read ur steps..so u didn’t have to use the update EU patch 1.10? u just used the asian to european converting patch…tweaked registry and replaced the game.exe with EU cracked one like i did?..
i read everywhere necessarily mentioning that this RE4 EU update patch 1.10 has to be run soon after tweaking registry but i didn’t do that and yet got the graphics improved. when i do run it
i get ” installation destination not found”.
But now i’m satisfied as i’m playing a better RE4 than the crap i installed two days ago that showed poor graphics.

But since my issue was concerned with only the Gfx i’m still running the 1.0 version RE4 after converting it to European one from the initial asian version Biohard 4 which had no lighting and shading textures…i didn’t even try mouse aim patch because i’ve got a great gamepad almost similar to MS Xbox 360 controller.After having killed Salazar with just eight Butterfly shots…i feel i’m better with gamepad aim than mouse.

Glad I helped. I strongly recommend switching from european 1.0 to european 1.10 but if you like it as it is, well, enjoy it
it’s still worth it.
I use a gamepad too, Thrustmaster Firestorm Dual Power 3 and I am veeeeeeery satisfied (old but gooooood!!).

guys hello..i was able to download & install the patch succesfully to bring out the best of re4..for new effects and lights and everything..but the problem is..when i start the game..all i can see is black environment, leon, crows, cars, trucks,doors, small fire..its like instead of making the lights,effects of the game better..it was gone..please can somebody help me with this..tnx alot

Have you updated the drivers of your graphics card + motherboard +directx 9.0c august redist? It doesn’t matter if you are able to run quake 4 or any game, this has to do mostly with the engine of re4 which has to do with the things I mentioned above. Try and lemme know.

Thanx…I would love to ask for savegames…now I’ve already finished the game…I had decided I would do patching soon after completing and I did as u recommended.
But according to me although the patching had updated in-game menu screens the gameplay graphics remain same as the Version 1.0 for me. Initially I had only used the Cracked game.exe of v 1.1 to bring the magic gfx improvement (lighting and shading textures) on my v 1.0. So Note that the update patch is not necessary if graphics is the only issue.[the Crack will do work]
Now I’m playing Separate Ways. And I will surely mail u for a savegame incase I get stuck anywhere..
The game is excellent with the patch, but i wouldnt go as far as saying the graphics are better than the gamecube…
In the gamecube version, the Cutscenes use the IN-GAME Engine, however the PS2, PC and (i think) Wii version use pre-recorded cutscenes. This means that if you have unlocked a costume in the cube version (e.g.the RPD Leon outfit) or if you have bought the tactical vest armor, Leon will be wearing it in the cutscenes because the gamecube version uses the in-game engine, whereas the ps2/pc/wii cant (i think the wii cant) because they have already used recorded cutscenes.
Graphics wise, it goes like this (Top to bottom)
Wii
GC } These two vary because it depends on ur pc graphics card
PC } but i put GC on top cuz of the cutscenes
PS2

yeah i agree with u the cutscenes are pre-recorded…this mite’ve been due to careless porting to PS2 and PC..i too doubt on Wii’s Capability of rendering real time cut-scenes. And the order goes as u said..wii>GC>PC>PS2
The Mouse Aim fix: i beat the game thru gamepad..now me too finding a solution for mouse aim…i’ll try helping if my fix works…

1.Install mouse aim support.

Don’t delete or try to modify the dinputhook file that u already have. Instead move it to a backup folder…u’ll need it to run the setup tool to change ur keyboard config.
if u want to change the keyboard config…bring back the dinput hook file from backup to main folder and move the new dinput8.dll file to backup..and vice versa..u get me?
[so have ur keyboard configuration done earlier before replacing.]
Now click Loader for mouse aim and do all ur choice on mouse.

Now as for the patching, that is really odd… Changing the menus etc and not the in-game graphics? Whereas the graphics had got improved with only the cracked file replacement?
Well try uninstalling everything, including regedit entries. And delete entirely the CAPCOM folder. But do remember to keep the savedata file in a backup folder. And repeat the installation procedure.
Replacing only the cracked file without the patch will work, you are absolutely right on that but you might have several windows dx problems , crash error messages. So install the whole patch as you did.
And please post the update, I am really curious..

Sorry for confusing… after updating to 1.1, ofcourse there was also the graphics improvement and new game menus as well.
[With the Crack file only the Gfx is improved similarly and no game menus]and luckily for me i didn’t experience any crash problems thru out.
This method was posted in some sites when a lot many felt that normal patching is a hassle, a 6.88 MB crack will do all trick…but as u said it’s not proper. And so the normal installation procedure of patch is always advised.

Oh and one more thing, i found out that in the Wii version of Resi4, the in-game engine is used for the cutscenes, so if you have Special 1 costume on (leons RPD and Ashleys cowgirl outfit and Ada has her Assignment Ada costume on) OR no costume for anyone/Leon with Tactical Vest, it comes up in the cutscenes too! yay!
But Capcom didnt have enough time to include Special 2 costumes for the cutscenes (Ashleys Armor and Leons Mafia Suit) so if you do select those on the Wii, they will be wearing default costumes in the cutscenes. Awww.

Well, the Wii version is the best and that is because it is the original one. The game was not redesigned for any other platform, it was simply ported and in the pc case, in a sloppy way.

My version is NETSHOW and i cant install the patch asian2europe, I receive the message “Impossible agiornare RESIDENT EVIL 4 PATCH (…) game.exe: versione sconosciuta”
I NOT run the game, I tried in fresh install several times and i can get nothing, only the message error.
So can you post the original files in somewhere so I can install the patch asian2europe?

My version – NETSHOW in 4 Cds- is already cracked. I dont have crack files in any folder to replace.

Ok look, if you moved the 3 mentioned files out of the folder and still get the message, then some other file needs to be replaced as well which I don’t know since I am not familiar with the netshow release. When you install, tell me, you don’t replace anything and the game loads perfectly? Is that what you mean when you say it is already cracked?
Anyway if you wanna give it a try I can upload the 3 files you asked for. But I don’t see how that could help since you actually DONT need those files… megaupload or rapidshare is your preference?

I don’t replace anything, the install do not ask cd-key, after install I just play, CD in drive is not required and the game Biohazard4 runs fine.
But I can’t install the patch asian to euro and I think it happens because files in my release “is already crack”. I don’t have the originals to make backup.
If you can upload the originals, Rapidshare is much better for me.

Well you need to tell me which other files [except those 3] are cracked.
We need to find that out because those 3 are not necessary for the patch, in fact you got to remove em from the folder as you noticed. So you do not need em at all. (Step 4)

- You don’t necessarily have to install the game to C:\Program Files\CAPCOM\Resident Evil 4(or biohazard 4), other drives such as E:\ etc. also work just fine. ^_^
- If you have “biohazard 4″, just make sure when you have to install the Asian to EU patch, that you enter the correct RE4 root, which in this case is not X:\Program Files\CAPCOM\Resident Evil 4, but X:\Program Files\CAPCOM\biohazard 4. That’s all

AFTER THAT I PATCH THE GAME WITH ASIAN TO EUROPIAN …ALL ITS FINE. NOW I TRY TO UPDATE GAME TO 1.1.0 using EUROPIAN PATCH ….71MB…. but when i double click its says :No game Reguired an update is installed on this computer…..! i download some patch that is 6.88MB and game work fine but dunno if its that right way i didnt install that 71MB eu patch… other thing … i have core 1.6 with 1gb ram grafic card GE force 8500 gt 512 ram … but game run slow not what i expect …its work good only on 800X600 full screen i got widescreen monitor but i dont use that option its going slow…

No, the PATH and DEFAULT keys don’t have to be changed.
Just make sure that you rename “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CAPCOM\biohazard 4″ to “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CAPCOM\Resident Evil 4″.
Could you maybe tell me where you installed the game?
Example: E:\Program Files\CAPCOM\biohazard 4
The 2nd patch should be able to find your game.
I myself also had the same error you had, but after I had changed the keys, everything worked fine.
OK I SUCcESED I INSTALL THE PATCH AND ASIAN TO EUROPIAN MY GAME IS INSTALLED IN C: i just do like this is reg … C:\Program Files\CAPCOM\Resident Evil 4 i add this in PATH and its work. ok all is fine but game not run fast on better resoluton i got ge force 8500 gt 512 ram 1gb ram 2.4 dual i play it on widescreen monitor but its not going very fast…i play it on 800X600 normal screen u think that with this configuration need to work better ?
Lol, I think you need more RAM to play this game with a high resolution. ^_^ Your graphics card is easily good enough.
Just BUY the game if the cracks don’t work..
If you really very wanted to play it, you would have already done.
I only played it on gamecube, when it just came out.
I was a little boy of 15 years old and found it too hard to finish the game.
By the time I realised I played it on hard mode, I was already 16 years old and “old enough” to finish it.
It’s actually a long game, with a lot of bosses and the same monsters.
The end boss of disk one, that small boy -forgot his name- took me increbidly long, compared to the end boss.
The end boss was SO $4*8%(89$$$ EASY, I thought it was a joke.
But the game itself is quite cool.
There are only so much thing in the game that keep repeating itself.
Always Ashley gets captured, and 5 minutes after she’s free, she’s getting captured again..
The enemy’s are looking all the same too, and I was getting superstressed from the ones with the chainsaws.
When you were too far away, they avoided my bullets, but when I was closer, they cutted of my head..
The puzzles are also very easy if you know how.
But since the puzzles are almost all the same, you only have to figure the first one out to solve the others.
The game isn’t actually that good..
But for the ones who like it, enjoy! ^^

i’ve been through all these posts and couldn’t find an answer to my problem. i downloaded the game, kept it original and patched it with the resident_evil_4_1.10_eur patch. the game’s a euro version aswell. patched got installed with no problems at all, but still there is no trace of improvement; no shading, no lighting, none. i have no idea what the patch did, cause i can’t see it. anyone have any idea what the problem might be? i really want some lightning cause the game’s pretty lame without it.

Hi everybody i downloaded the Resident evil 4 Hatred Game,right?
i install it and everything right? it works perfect…or does it?
when i open a door at the first part(1-1 just after killing the zombie inside the house)i open the door,it opens perfectly right?
but when im on the other side…the screen turns Yellow…i mean Light Yellow But Still like that i can’t see nothing….why does this happens to me?
Hi everyone, My game runs fine until I get to the first village and open this gate and my screen goes like white or you could say light brown and i cant see anything, anyone have any ideas? please someone give me a hand i am really stuck, I dont know if I need ap atch or something
guys please help me i install the RE4 on my PC smoothly and when i play it it displays game.exe error

hey guys just do this..
install the game.
download the game.exe from here http://files.filefront.com//;7572260;/
change the name(the registry tweak)
and just patch it.
it worked for me perftectly
anyone can help me?? i already patch my biohazard to european but still i hav an error again same with biohazard…the game crashes if i watch the whole movie… in that cut scene leon will talk to his phone… but all i see a black then there some error again

i hav biohazard 4(netshow version)nd i want 2 patch it.i tried al those links to dwnld asian to european patch nd original exe etc. bt none of d links seems to be workin 4 me..
I installed the game with 1.1.0 and 1.1.7 movie patch … last time i played everything worked just fine but now It all seems fine as well until i start playing the game and there is just a massive black void of almost everything. I can see the leon model, a house, and some birds flying, but every other texture is just black.

1.) Ok I downloaded this file on mininova.org:
“Resident Evil 4+ [PCDVD] [MULTI5] [PATCH 1.10]”
(It has all the patches and the mouse aiming thingy)
Then i unzipped it with Winrar
2.) Downloaded this file: http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?d3dx9_30
3.) Installed The Game
4.) Transferred The Downloaded file to Resident Evil 4’s Folder
5.) Updated to Direct x 09
6.) Then I clicked on the Resident Evil 4 Desktop Icon
7.) Goes to a black Screen, Then Asks me for the desired LANGUAGE
8.) I picked ENGLISH
Then BAM!, back to Desktop.
Am i doing something wrong??? Sorry I’m new to this kinds of things.

For anybody who is having trouble with Pixel Shaders and Black Screens:
Download: SWIFTSHADER
Link: http://www.transgaming.com/products/swiftshader/signup/
Note: You have to sign up first (Its easy and hassle-Free)
Then after you download it, extract the files with WinRar.
In the extracted folder find the file: d3d9.dll
DRAG AND DROP IT TO THE RERSIDENT EVIL 4 FOLDER (C.\\LOCAL DISK -> PROGRAMS -> CAPCOM -> RESIDENT EVIL 4)
It should work fine but it might be slow!!!!1

hey guys!… i just have this problem about the “loader.exe” of the mouse aim patch v2.0, my avg free v8 detects it as a virus! of course all of the necessary means, i tried to close it to play it. still the same. i tried to remove it from my pc and the still the same!..
seems like the avg totally disabled “loader.exe”
please help me..
is the mouse aim patch really necessary for the patch?

I’ve got the same problem as jairuz posted above.
My AVG completely disabled Loader.exe for MouseAim 2.0.
Turning on or off, reinstalling AVG doesnt help.
If someone has a better idea. Please go on.

mouse aim fix is a virus

AVG is giving a false alert then. Probably because the files have access to control the mouse.
On a side note, the game.exe you guys are experiencing are maybe not related to the crack itself, but because of codec filters. The movies used are generic MPEG files and there might be conflicts with the codec packs installed on the computer. You can disable the codec packs like mentioned on this website http://hdpatch.filetap.com/

I found a very simple solution to the patch. Instead of using the patch v1.1.0, I found a self made patch v2.0

Hello. I have a problem then im installing the patch to re4 i get the same problem (no game requiring…) and then im trying to install the texture patch 2.0 i dont know how to install it.

my resident evil was woking fine with 3d analyze but when i cleared chapter 3 and proceed to the little rolling lift which is on lava and go through the door before showing me the view it closes and come on window

Hi, whenever I try to click Load game on the Mouse Aim, it says “error 2: cannot find specified file”. How do i correct this?
I was wondering if it had anything to do with the fact that the Mouse aim says biohazard 4, but i am playing the european version of RE4 w/ the EU 1.10 patch readily installed on it.

The main problem was in the Dinputhook.dll for some reason most of the mouseaim mod had a wrong Dinputhook.dll
i spend a day looking for this and i have this one and my mouse works like a charm now!
