    @8 utorrent can be configured to allow unlimited download or you can cap it if you want. same with upload. check your speed settings and you may be able to get more speed if your connection will allow. Read the support page on utorrent’s site, you’ll learn a lot apparently.

    The guys name is Ulrich Steinhilper; he actually escaped 4 times; wrote three books about this. IBM credits him with inventing the word processor.
    Rescue Dawn is pretty factual until he starts eating the snake; everything after that is pure Hollywood.

    it works great for me using VLC Player, the only Player I use nowadays anyway.

    Video and Audio Quality a 10/10; best I’ve seen in a long time (The Descent UK Rip was the last one and that was almost 2 years ago)

    @all you that don’t hear no sound: This movie has 5.1 sound in AC3-format (not mp3 like most others have)! You need something that decodes the AC3 audiostream.

    For windows users this could be valexac3 – a free directX AC3 decoding filter. It comes with Gabests media player classic (not the microsoft thingy). Or wait, just install the FFDSHOW-tryouts – a head-to-toes Directx-filter suite than also includes AC3-decoding. And the Media Player Classic by Gabest. And Video Lan Client (VLC) for taking turns.

    … I prefer Media Player Classic by Gabest using the ffdshow-tryouts (why are they called that – tryouts?) filter (that is free btw) because it contains a nicely tweakable sharpen filter with a ‘unsharp mask’ algorithm.

    @60: Where do you get your facts? The snake part was true, not the description of the characters. Dieter joined the prison when Gene and others have already planned the escape.

On the same website, Pisidhi Indradat, the other survivor of the group, has also stated that the film contains inaccuracies.
