Do you need subtitles for this movie? A friend of mine watched it and said the were scenes that were not spoken in english.

I also thought the film was great, but with so importants aspects misrepresented it can’t be seen as a true tale. Unfortunately.

Anyone else having playback problems with this and other Chakra releases (i.e. No Country for Old Men)?

VLC (0.8.6d and 0.8.6e)says:

mkv error: cannot load cues (broken seekhead or file)

I can play the file though, but ff and rw is impossible, playback seems to freeze.

Any new movie showing american soldiers that has an inkling of patriotism or/and depicts american soldiers in any sort off positive light, however slight, is clearly American Propaganda even if Christian Bale’s performance deserves an Oscar but since this movie showed those characteristics this movie and cast deserves no awards recognition from Hollywood.The plot needed to show some Christian Bale raping or maybe killing a few babies for me to even consider watching this movie and maybe then it would win awards…

Thank you, that was an interesting read, and does not surprise me at all, all too often the truth of a story is lost in the “creative mind” of the director, as for the writer, if a story is about a true event then the writer should stfu as he can claim no rights to it. Refusing to speak with the surviving escapees is inexcusable and will be one of the reasons i wont be downloading this.

hmmm are we sure this is a real rip?
The original bluray is a bd+, which is not cracked yet, and the only way to make a “rip” is to capture thru hdmi interface, but the quality is not as good as a normal rip.

i agree, GREAT movie. all the actors are great, but damn Christian Bale is something else. Definitely one of my favorite actors of all time
