CORE released a interesting looking program called “RenameMaestro” to help you if you have to rename multiple different files/photos etc.

RenameMaestro is the easy way to rename files and folders. It can keep existing file numbers meaningful when renaming. Find and replace with wildcards. Use the quick single action mode, or stepby step multiple action mode. Drag drop and rename thousands of files instantly.

    hmmm, try Total Commander, it has built in Multi rename feature with pretty good options. Give it a try!

    @1 The Setup file downloaded from renamemaestro site is 776kb whereas the file included in this download is 799kb.????????

    Tried most of them and Better File Rename works best for me
