Renaissance LiMiTED DVDRiP XViD READ NFO-HLS

A pretty interesting animated drama Renaissance was released in the final dvdrip by HLS just few hours ago. You may be wondering how is that possible, when there was already another dvdrip (Kev’s review included) pred like 2 months ago by NEPTUNE, but it has really simple answer mentioned in the NFO:

The movie was released on French and English version. The NEPTUNE rip was the FRENCH one. Although, the english version was played in USA cinemas, and not the french one, therefore the NEPTUNE rip shouldnt even be tagged as limited. So enjoy the english version of the movie without having to read subtitles.

In 2054, Paris is a labyrinth where all movement is monitored and recorded. Casting a shadow over everything is the city’s largest company, Avalon, which insinuates itself into every aspect of contemporary life to sell its primary export — youth and beauty. In this world of stark contrasts and rigid laws the populace is kept in line and accounted for.

i knew there would always be an english version. although the movie is french and the technology is pioneered by a french company the financial backing mostly and suprisingly came from disney. which makes sense as to why the lips dont sync to the french audio. poor french for jipped on their own creation.

what a pity when people CANT READ subtitles for viewing a movie on the original language it was created.
You should start reading a little more, you know. Some day it may come in handy to know some words on another language. And sometimes the meaning of the words are different or double meanig in the original language.

I can only watch movies with subs and original language track.

When you watch a dubbed movie you remove any feeling or emotion the original actors put into their parts. Not to mention how terrible voice actors are on some of these dubs.

I knew when I saw the description of this torrent people couldn’t wait to start posting saying “I LOVE subtitles, I’m so cultured!” Well guess what – this film was actually made in English originally and later dubbed into French. So you’re actually watching a dub when you watch the French version :P

Well actually they produced both versions simultaneous during the shoot of the movie, so both languages are legit. But who cares :D
