R.E.M. Live is a forthcoming live album from R.E.M., recorded at the Point Theatre, Dublin on February 26 and February 27, 2005, the closing nights of the winter European leg of the Around The World Tour in support of their thirteenth studio album Around the Sun released in late 2004. It is slated for release in the UK on 15 October 2007 and in the US a day later as a two-CD audio set and a DVD. The performance was filmed by Blue Leach. R.E.M. Live features rare performances of “I Took Your Name” from 1994’s Monster and “Ascent of Man” from Around The Sun as well as the previously unreleased “I’m Gonna DJ.”

The fourteenth album from modern rock’s most acclaimed band—a 2007 inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame—is R.E.M.’s first live album. Presented in a 2CD/1DVD package, R.E.M. Live documents performances in February 2005 at The Point indoor venue in Dublin, Ireland, a city that has become a second home to the band. With set list of nearly two hours, spanning the band’s entire career, R.E.M. Live offers the “greatest hits” on stage. Directed by Blue Leach (Depeche Mode’s Touring The Angel— Live In Milan), R.E.M. Live should excite fans in anticipation of a new studio album in Spring 2008.

    does anyone know how to split up that torrent, in gives each disc as one mp3 each witch its pretty lame, comes with a .cue but ive never used that for music and it tries to open in VLC and i know thats not right, any ideas?
