I hated the plotline, just them being in the real world, present day was terrible for me. I didn't find the writing funny, and the SE were just awful. I'd rather terrible prosthetics! The fact that they disabled/deleted the comments board on Dave's website (the website of the channel that showed this special) speaks volumes. But if you're a Dwarfer I'd recommend watching it, as some people loved it, and I'm still hoping for a Season 9 ( or 10 ;) ) I *love* Red Dwarf (I have all 8 Seasons on DVD) but I thought this special was poor.
