Rec 2007 READNFO DVDRiP XViD-iKA

It seems that a lot of foreign horror movies are better rated than American ones… Here’s another example. “[Rec]” is a Spanish horror flick that has gained itself a nice little score on IMDB. I can see why, as the teaser trailer looks genuinely scary to me. Quality of the release is very good, high video bitrate and normal MP3 audio on 1 CD. The spoken language here is Spanish, but of course there are English subtitles added to the linked torrent.

Note: The release is from March 25, so we are untypically a few days late on this one. Sorry!

Synopsis: While covering the night shift at a small-town fire department, an ambitious young television reporter (Manuela Velasco) and her cameraman follow the crew on a call to rescue an elderly woman unable to escape the inferno that is consuming her home. Upon their arrival at the scene, the calm midnight air is pierced by the sound of horrific screams, and the television report takes an unexpectedly dark turn.

I saw this on theater last week (in Italy is out since 28th of February), it’s very very scary, reminds me a bit of “the Blair witch project”, but it’s way better on the horror/creepiness/jump-on-the-seat side. It’s a good title, for true horror lovers.

My son and his friends (2 boys) watched this last night and it scared the sh*t out of them. They were screaming like little girls. (They are all 18). According to him it was one of the scariest movies he’s ever seen. Sounds like a good date movie to me.

    creepy as f**k.
i actually watched this the other day, got links from tito. the new subs that were added for this release on subscene are more professional, but i actually enjoyed the direct translations on the previous sub file. added a little humour to the horror.

Since when did a high bitrate equal great quality? No wonder its high since the resolution is so low at 592×320. Thats less than half the resloution of the original Anamorphic DVD format (189k pixels vs 410k pixels). Utterly pathetic that a group does this with such a short and great film! Feckin nubs the lot of them.
‘The Scene’ is in severe need of a revolution up its arse.

I’m glad after reading all the hype on here that the movie was pretty freaking effective.
And the ending was pretty creepy and scary as well, but it pisses me off that they instantly went to music (and a party rock song nonetheless) right at the end of the last scene. It sucked all the scariness out of the whole movie. If it just went to silence for it bit with the credits you would just be left with (whoa)

This is one of those few movies that makes involuntarily say something out loud (like HOLY SH$T!)
Sometimes I had my hand over my mouth wondering what the hell was going to happen.
Movies rarely do that for me.

Highly recommended! With the lights out!

Great quality & nice executed from all points of view, but come on guys did you really liked it? I mean all of them did nothing right. They were just doing all the wrong decisions resulting the death one by one to the very last of them. Kinda sucked & didn’t enjoyed it.
