Now normally I wouldn’t write a full post for a LiMiTED movie but this one is a rare exception. Apparently, this release is almost a month old but I only just got hold of it. Personally, I really like DOCU stuff because they actually teach you something and provide a substantial insight into what’s happening outside your window aka in the world. This Litvinenko scandal caused a lot of controversy between Great Britain and Russia and continues to strain the already tense relations…
Synopsis
This fascinating documentary charts the events leading up the death of ex-spy Alexander Litvinenko from radiation poisoning in November 2006. Two years prior to his death, Litvinenko had publicly spoken out, accusing his former superiors at the FSB of the assassination of Russian tycoon Boris Berezovsky. Whilst living in forced exile in Britain Litvinenko continued his claims against the Russian government, up until he fell ill and became a rare victim of lethal polonium-210 poisoning under highly suspicious circumstances. With no one brought to trial over Litvinenko’s death and the Russian government refusing to extradite the prime suspect, this ongoing case is one of the most shocking, explosive and portentous in modern history. REBELLION – THE LITVINENKO CASE attempts to explore his accusations of corruption through candid interviews with the man himself prior to his death, as well as his family, journalists and others brave enough to speak out and demand the truth.

Berezovsky/MI6 Propaganda Epstein investigated this and found out that he was working for MI6 and smuggling Plutonium from the Panski Gorge from the Chechen mafia that’s why they didn’t release the autopsy report or release the CCTV footage from hundreds of cameras in London.
Forbes editor Paul Klebnikov did a book profiling the mafia godfather Berezovsky his links to organised crime and terrorism and how he destroyed Russia during the 90’s.

In 98 corruption charges were launched against Berezovsky amongst other things and Litvinenko was sent to investigate.
Berezovsky who owned half the media in Russia held a press conference with Litvinenko who he reportedly paid 1 million dollars and claimed he was hired to kill him.
Berezovsky maid the same claim in 94 or 95 when he was accused of trying to murder a rival business man although there was footage of him meeting a major organised crime clan.
Litvinenko credibility is somewhat discredited by his previous allegations that Russian intelligence created Al Quada and was behind 9/11 and that the Italian PM at the time was a KGB agent. He also said a bunch of other stuff that I can’t remember that made him sound like a crazy conspiracy theorist.
There’s also the fact that his Italian counterpart was an expert on nuclear waste disposal or something like that was reported in British press when they were looking for a main suspect and was latter arrested for weapons smuggling by the Italian police.
