RealVNC Enterprise v4.4.3 MacOSX Incl Keymaker-CORE

Guys from group CORE released a new Mac OS X version of RealVNC Enterprise. RealVNC is super popular and very simple application for managing a remote computer through remote desktop. This release should work on Mac OS X 10.3.9–10.5 (x86 & PPC).

VNC is remote control software which allows you to view and fully interact with one computer desktop (the “VNC server”) using a simple program (the “VNC viewer”) on another computer desktop anywhere on the Internet. The two computers don’t even have to be the same type, so for example you can use VNC to view a Windows Vista desktop at the office on a Linux or Mac computer at home. For ultimate simplicity, there is even a Java viewer, so that any desktop can be controlled remotely from within a browser without having to install software.

Enterprise edition features:

  • Integrated Session Security
  • Platform-Native Authentication
  • One-Port HTTP & VNC
  • HTTP Proxy Support
  • Desktop Scaling
  • Cross-Platform Interoperability
  • File Transfer
  • Integrated Address Book
  • Chat (Windows only)
  • Deployment Tool (Windows only)
  • Free Upgrades

    this is an excellent program!
The single user Windows version is still free, I think.

I' used it to manage remote workstatons over a 250 node network for about 5 years, when it was still new and it worked like a charm. Offers some really handy features such as hot keys for screen resolution, unassisted reboots etc.

I recommend Radmin. Far better in terms of performance (speed).

    @Endless

Agreed, why would you pay for a vnc client when UltraVNC is available?

An other free alternative is LogMeIn ( http://www.logmein ), easy setup, and acces to your computer remotly from your webbrowser anywhere using a Firefox plugin or IE, put it in fullscreen, and you are on your computer.

-> Don't have any stealth mode, so if you are looking for it, it will not work. (A small window pop up in the corner of the screen, and the icon stay in the taskbar, but every anti-virus accept this soft)
