    oooooh touchy.

besides the day that a torrent speed matches what i get from RS is the day your point makes sense.

even if your torrent speeds match RS some people don’t have the same luxury so live and let live dude.

    October 14th, 2007 | 04:37

Cool! 2 CDs with Dolby 5.1 for a movie not that long– I wish it was always like that; even short films deserve to be seen with great audio and have more space for better video quality. Unfortunately the aspect ratio is a little wrong (2.47:1 instead of a figure in between 2.35:1 and 2.40:1), but that’s just a tiny problem, not that noticable. Was that the reason there was some debate about this release being nuked or not?

  15. JoshuaMH1
    October 14th, 2007 | 05:01

Sucks…The 6 seconds missing was the best part in the whole movie.

  16. October 14th, 2007 | 05:03

six seconds missing. doesnt matter to me. it has a high video bitrate and good audio quality. i dont care about a proper for 6 seconds in what is probably a non-important part of the video anyways.

  17. feffrey
    October 14th, 2007 | 05:05

Quick question. Why are most movies, tv shows, etc, seem to have a a more wide-screen than a normal wide-screen aspect ratio? My wide-screen tablet is 16:10, and are most tv’s 16:9? why then odd ratio that is present?
Some of the scene rules I really don’t get.

  18. Larris
    October 14th, 2007 | 05:06

Well If any one has the TC can’t they just add the missing 6 seconds to this release and creatte like a fix, you know how they make syncfixes why don’t they make a SCENEFiX and just rar it cause i wont mind watching 6 secs of TC quality video and audio so yea if any one out there has downlaoded the TC please rip the 6 seconds out wit Virtual dub mod it wont be too hard ;)

  19. Larris
    October 14th, 2007 | 05:08

Or If any one can give me the rar on rapidshare of the TC which has the missing 6 second ill do it my self and share it.

  20. beber
    October 14th, 2007 | 05:09

“Not important”? If it’s supposed to be here, it must be here. That’s not the way the filmmakers intended us to see their movie. Those 6 seconds must come back to us. For those who’ll release the Proper, if you come by, please do it in 2 CDs + Dolby 5.1 just like this one. Please, please…

  21. Larris
    October 14th, 2007 | 05:12

Proper might take a while tho :( but im sure no one will mind the tc thing

  22. beber
    October 14th, 2007 | 05:17

“Proper might take a while tho :( but im sure no one will mind the tc thing”

Define “a while”, please. It’s probably gonna be available today or tomorrow. It’s not that long to wait for a movie supposed to be seen on DVD only on November 6th. I would mind your idea of gluing back the 6 TC seconds in the middle. That would be ugly.

  23. Larris

“LOl some propers aren’t done overnight soo maybe even up to a week but hopefully its done in the next 24hrs.”

For a big Pixar movie like this one, that many people are waiting for, I’d be surprised to wait a week for a Proper. And even so, a week is not that long. There are other movies and TV series to watch in the meantime.

  37. mropinion
    October 14th, 2007 | 07:15

I wouldn’t be bothered over those 6 secs either, although its kinda funny when u think those 6 secs probably cost $10000s in rendering and some group of guys probably spent a month making those 6 secs lol

  38. zorrin
    October 14th, 2007 | 07:16

I want the same quality , i.e. 2 CD with AC3 5.1, but the whole movie, including the 6 secs, supposibly missing.

When is PROPER expected to release their version of this?

  39. CaptainHack
    October 14th, 2007 | 07:24

  42. gossipninja
    October 14th, 2007 | 07:50

    @feffrey
most hdtv shows are at the 1.77×1 aspect (16×9). Movies however tend to be 1.85×1 or 2.35×1 (sometimes even 2.40×1). so you will still get some black bars even on a widescreen. I dont know why spiral’s rip of this and pirates are off. they both should be 2.35 but they register at 2.47, ultimatly not a huge deal, but i still dont know why they are off. It is rare for a movie to have an aspect more then 2.40×1, the only one i get think or is ben-hur (or is it spartacus?) one of those old “epic” movies.
Bad AR does bug me, because xbmc sometimes doesnt do AR correctly so i am always second guessing the AR.
Hope this gets propered soon, I know have some friends with kids that love this movie and really wanna watch it again.

  43. October 14th, 2007 | 07:59

and I noticed that this one is a few ms out of sync. enough to notice.

  49. heh
    October 14th, 2007 | 09:03

Rapidshare cheap? You can get newsgroup access for not much more, and have tons more stuff to download. Faster downloads than rapidshare. No need to visit a web page for every file. There’s even convenient NZB files. Rapidshare isn’t convenient nor particularly cheap. At least torrents are free, and i don’t have to press “download” and answer CAPTCHAs for dozens of links manually for every movie/application/game.

  50. rapidshare?

2nd release by SPiRAL, nuked once again.

  52. QuadrupelQ
    October 14th, 2007 | 09:28

It may be only 6 seconds, but that still means it’s nuked. Plus there might be some minor out of sync issues. With all the clashing egos in the scene, it won’t be long before a proper is found. Not for our entertainment, but for a way to slag off the failing scene group.

  53. October 14th, 2007 | 09:28

i don’t know what to do with SPiRAL, trust them or not… i didn’t trust their first release cause I have seen the movie already, but this one I haven’t seen. the best way to judge is to download, watch and tell… so this is what im doing with this release…

if it’s good, SPiRAL is very fast!

If it was properred, it was already released on nfo sites.

    I has not been properred.

But people should think a bit rather than whining.

For a proper, other than Spiral, other groups have to get their hands on the damn DVD, don’t you think? If the DVDs were mailed to people who are part of rls groups, some got the mail on Sat but others can have it on Monday.
