This version of WinRaR doesn’t work for me. I don’t get any Winrar.exe
I just have Launch Winrar.exe. Im using Vista.

Moreover, you should know that just ONE positive in virustotal means that the file is clean – specially when that positive comes from something called “K7″.

Maybe you should try my release: Multilingual AppzNet Edition (6 languages). Among other things, it enables editing of locked archives. If you’re not happy with the registration name, any CORE generated key file will do the trick.

The setup is in english. More info in the readme file.

Ok, this is really lame and stupid release…

Every iteration of winrar can be ran with out actually installing it.

For example you can take your say Winrar 3.61 folder, drop it on a usb drive, take it to another PC and it will run just fine. Since Wirar uses a license file stored in its root directory it is already technically portable. For this alone its easy to build it into a windows custom slipstreamed install CD.

A REAL portable would be just 1 exe file that just runs… this still has you install only its the german language installer. Again lame and should be NUKED.
