    @27… when have you seen a rar file with a pass like that ? ?
    True that your pass would take a millenium to brute-force..BUT

    Test it properly… for average use…..
    eg…..

    Jab007.bayw.org is a pass used by someone here… (@23) lets see IF..or…HOW LONG it takes to crack. will post results l8r

    Lots of passes are like ""irfree.com"" . ""Jab007.bayw.org"" ,""ww.releases.net"".ect…
    (usually just letters (ocasionally numbers) & with a FEW "common" characters like "" .@-_ "" )

    tested it… waste of time…
    used brute force… way too much time needed.

    What would be really usefull.

    A dictionary containing all the rar passwords found on sites like this one.

    but… F that . always hated rar's being passworded. avoid them.
    99% of the time it is quicker to do a search on google for a password OR a passwordFREE rar.

    Works, although verry slow. And does NOT work on all kinds of rar-files. Rar-files with encrypted filenames does not work.

    O rly? I tested it on an E6600 and got 19 passwords per second max.
    Before it crashes. Because trying 11 digit passwords is way harder then 3 digit, right? No, it's not, it should just take way longer.
