Just a couple hours after the 360 release, FATAL released the Wii version of Rapala Fishing Frenzy. There have been a lot of Wii releases lately, it is nice to see not only 360 rips coming out, but that the Wii is getting up there. Hopefully they’ll keep coming. Enjoy this!

    We all appreciate the effort veganjustice, but is it really necessary to make seperate posts for the Wii and the 360 version of this game? RLSLOG’s main page is always cluttered with crap and these type of releases really epitomize what I’m talking about. Sometimes less is more…

    Well, I for one appreciate all your efforts and if you did do only one post, it would mean I have to look through every console posting to see if it’s released and available for the Wii….. Keep up the good work!

    To be able to play backup/downloaded wii games you’ll need a modchip. The chip depends on the serial at the bottom of your wii console. Go to http://wiitracker.nintendo-scene.com/search.php to look up your serial. The latest d2pro modchip (with the wii-clip v4c) is a very decent modchip which is also very easy to update with a dvd. I personally don’t like the idea of soldering anything into my wii so the solution is a thing called Wii-Clip.(http://www.wii-clip.com/).
    With this all you have to is to solder the modchip on the clip first and then just clip it on. You don’t have to worry bout losing your warranty cause it can be easily removed if necessary.
    There are even pre-soldered ones out there which come with the chip already on it.
    Once you’ve downloaded your wii game/iso, you can use ImgBurn. Now, don’t use any cheap dvd’s cause the wii is very picky!
    If you can get Verbatim dvd-r dvd’s or any other brand which is produced in japan and not taiwan or singapore, you’ll be fine.

    There is a site called http://www.wiiso.com where you can get alot of useful information(needs registration.)

    One more thing, make sure you burn at max. 4x speed with ImgBurn or slower. I’ve seen some games not working correctly at higher speeds.

    If you want to play games from other regions you need to run the games through two programs, if you don’t want to brick your wii.

    Or see if can get a copy of Datel freeloader, which enables you to play other region games.
