If somebody want to discover new artists just have to go to last.fm and get their albums from wherever, don't think all the music scene need all that post rush. Don't take me wrong, i love rlslog been here for more than a year and i'm a happy customer. It's true that rlslog is about all the scene, but there are so many albums getting out every day that if you want cover them all you could show them in some secondary page like music.rlslog.net and not in the main on.
