The only sync issue I had with the workprint was at the 1:09:31 mark..
there was a sample loop at that time line..
I removed the loop, and recoded the audio, and all was in sync..
Now they have this repack out, but people say OOS still in parts… I watched the entire WP on my stand alone divx player and I had zero sync issues after I took that one loop out… This repack is fobar from what I’ve been told..
OK! So I’m a dummy! Boredom + Coors = DUH! It’s still January 31, 2008 in the U.S. I didn’t think about the time across the pond.

Go to Firefox’s Tools menu, select Options then click on Web Features. Uncheck the box for javascript BEFORE you come to the site. This will keep the script that pops up the full-page ad from loading. Yo can also get extensions that will let you whitelist or blacklist sites from running javascript.

@jared thats because instead of choosing to save the file you chose to open using wmp when the dowmload box came up so the file is on your computer in your users\appdata\temp\ folder or a folder around there
I had this file but deleted it. The video quality is poor (looks like a cam) and not worth watching. Also, there is a giant watermark on the video. I recommend waiting for a better version.

Georgeous copy. I think this is the best one out there. If it didn’t have the tags, it would’ve been perfect! I think the quality is comparable to R5 or Screener.
Still out of sync, IMHO. R5 should be released in about 3 weeks.
Adjust the sound -70ms, that should be alright.

in my opinion is more like a screener than wp, in my opinion nothing is missing, compare it with previous cam realeases, and its even longer about 10 minutes, imbd says its should be 93 and this is 91 so…

ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA HOW TO REMOVE THE “CULTURE MAKERS ENTERTAINMENT” WATERMARK FROM THE PICTURE? ALTHOUGH I HAVE TO GIVE YOU GUYS PROPS, I AM SURE IF YOU COULD, YOU PROBABLY WOULD HAVE, BUT I HAD TO ASK.
This is a workprint. A telecine is when a telecine machine is used to scan the film reels into digital format. A workprint can come from various sources, and can be incomplete or missing scenes, effects, sounds, blah blah.
This is a 100% complete workprint, most would label it as a screener to lie, but it’s a workprint with nothing missing.
R5 is a legally produced telecine made in Russia and released very early, to help combat piracy. R5 is on a dvd, but it’s a telecine. Since it’s a legally produced TC with direct studio audio, pukka coined the term R5 as it can’t really be called a telecine or a dvdrip.
Now we are seeing ‘R3′ releases, which are from Tailand? and have vcd audio. Aliens versus predator 2 the p2p release is an example of this.
This is FAR from dvdquality, it’s about onpar with a VHS screener, so be warned, it’s not going to look fantastic on your 52″ plasma. It’s more than watchable and it’s still in the theatres, so enjoy it.
Workprints are pretty rare these days, so it’s a good addition to any collection.
To clarify. A telecine is made from the film reels used in the actual theaters and will never contain watermarks or logos. The only releases that can contain those are screeners and workprints.
This is clearly a workprint, CLEARLY a workprint.
I’ve seen it in theatres and scanned through this one and haven’t really noticed any difference.

THE SCENE IS DEAD. we get nothing but crap these days. People who wanna release stuff first and since American Gangster i havent been impressed at all. I Am Legend was just luck. The scene is dead..and this proves it.
ffdshow easily removes the logo, saturates the colour, sharpens, it isn’t hard to do a bit of work
Scene is dead? Hope not. Guess we`ll have to wait for a russian, thai or dvdrip on this one. And we sure dont need some scene kids to rip a dvd
@161. Alan. I found a VCD that’s been cropped and filtered. I figure since most are saying its closer in quality to a VHS (or is a VHA, yadda yadda) then a VCD won’t do any harm, saves me 1hr+ in burn time. The VCD has been cropped so there’s no HUGE TEXT in the way, and filtered to improve image quality. Sounds great to me.
I won’t post since I’ve not confirmed its real yet, and I know how people here and everywhere start wagging fingers at cropped films (e.g. NUKED: bad a/r). 
Needless to say, just torrent search rambo cropped and filtered if you choose to take the jump before I/someone else confirms its real.
Is The Quality Of This Release Any Good . I’m on about the repack with the sync fix or should i wait for a r5 or screener . I saw a cam of the new rambo and the quality was total crap an i was hoping that there’s a vast improvement. I really want to see the geriatric rambo swap his walking stick for a bow and arrow and ak47. lol

I was thinking the same thing until 20th and PUKKA started releasing again recently (slowly but they’ll get faster hopefully). But you do have a point about the scene being slower nowadays.

just checked download. picture quality is terrible. colours washed out. watermark/writing on screen covers almost half of the video. waste of bandwith.will seed for a while so others can check it out then delete and wait for a better version.

I give it a 8/10 for video quality. It’s like a VHS screener. Huge Culture Makers Entertainment watermark on it.

…FYI, the VCD I downloaded is good enough for me to burn, and stop holding out hope for repack this and proper that. Appears in sync, color and sharpness are pretty good, and cropped to get rid of the nasty watermark. “Rambo 4 WP Cropped & Filtered”. Thumbs up. There’s also one floating around now where the watermark has been blurred out… some noob just posted on the Drum n’ Bass #2 post. I’ll stick with the one I’ve got.

@INFAMOUS. Something wrong with your player. download VLC and you should see it fine. Sounds like your current player is either: a) cack, or b) lacking the required codec.

Quality is OK, similar to R5 a bit more washed out, no doubt better than any CAM.
You may want to add subtitles to understand some of rambo’s words when stalone pulls them out of those cave lungs
AWESOME movie -crappy ending. I watched the movie on my computer and the quality was excellent. The “culture method entertainment” message at the bottom is too annoying to burn a permanent copy with.

Release was ok, once the logo was removed and a little more saturation added via virtual dub it was more watchable.

Yeah… I’m a quality buff, I don’t get movies unless they’re a dvd quality download… And I must say, this is not close to an r5 video quality release. Check the sample… In the dark, it’s a wee bit grainy with some green and red pixels (and a fair chunk of the movie is in the dark); also that’s really big titling used in the screen. I’m just gonna wait it out for the R5 or dvdscreener in a month or so, but I’m checking regularly on rlslog for more updates! My advice: see it in theatres, it’s worth the incredibly LOUD sound and quality
However, I did notice that in like 3 of the scenes in the theatre, the picture color changed while Rambo was talking, almost like a lens filter changed, it was weird… Anyhoo, sweet movie!
