R5 Release Dates for January
Our first post about release dates of Russian R5 rips celebrated a lot of success so I’m happy to bring you more of them. These release dates were mailed to me by a reader of RLSLOG, being translated from russian website. There are some nice R5 releases scheduled for this month, although we had an opportunity to watch certain movies thanks to leaked DVD screners and even some R5 scene releases are already available prior to this official date.

So Hitman is released 24th..and it takes a couple of days for the scene release..So we might not get an R5 till February?
nice list there ive seen some of these already, good films. waiting for beowulf,hitman,dan in real life,alvin n chipmunks and definately wanna watch the new national treasure.
not sure about the other films is loads i wanna see its just a case of waiting for them to show up. wonder what Feb as instore for us.
I guarantee the R5 of Invasion will not even be released by the scene. Seeing as there is already a DVDRiP out. There may not even be one of American Gangster due to the quality of the DVDSCR.

Forget Beowulf. If there’s any movie to pay for this year, it’s Beowulf. And if you think my statement is weird, consider that Beowulf was filmed for 3D-cinema. I went to an IMAX and watched it in 3d, it was totally awesome (Angelina Jolie with …uhm… nothing at all on her? in 3d? =-D of course the action scenes were pretty cool too), but i would never ever recommend to watch this movie in 2d, the animation is worse than in Crysis! The story is also pretty crappy, its all focussed on getting some cool 3d effects.
As far as i can remember, it was the only time i went into cinema in, like… the last half year? And it was worth it.
R5 or DVDSCR of “The Golden Compass”.. ?
ill guess golden compass be march time but thats just me, with retail releases taking 6months roughly from shown at cinema but then with it being R5 you have to find the dates of when it was shown for that region.

Thanks a ton for this, Martin. These lists should be released every month! It would also answer alot of easy newb questions about release dates. Seems like every comment section has a handful of people asking for a certain R5 release date. Hopefully this will save us all from having to answer (though it probably wont..)

Thanks for the list, I hate trying to use Google Translate on those Russian pages. But National Treasure that soon to R5?? It came out December 21st, usually R5’s take at least a month and a half, this is fast…

when can we see a juno release
R5 releases are all subject to when the movie premiers in Russia. It usually takes about three to four weeks after the movie hits the theaters for an R5 to be released to combat piracy problems in Russia. For instance, National Treasure Book of Secret has been in Russia theaters since December 27th, 2007, hence, the R5 is being released January 17th, 2008. Also check IMDB for the Russian theatrical release, add three to four weeks and you’ll have an R5. Sometimes a movie may be released in the United States but won’t be released in Russia until three months later, but in the case of National Treasure Book of Secrets it was released a week later in theaters in Russia than the United States, that’s why we have an R5 already. TRON out.

I don’t get it!! Most of the films you have listed have already been brought out in r5 or dvdscr format!! eg.Alvin and the Chipmunks, Lions for Lambs, Invasion, American Gangster and so on!! I’m not excited at all by this list!!!
Hey “Jay” – Where did you find a screener or R5 of “Alvin and The Chipmunks?” All I’ve ever found were a few not so great cams and a TS.

Hopefully this list will be better than the last in the fact that the movies actually appear when they say and not pushed back. Primeval by the way is already available on DVD and has been for a while now.

we own the night was a good movie, american gangster was great but the dvdscr had a contrast issue everything seemed dark and filmy.At least it looks like the recent shortage of big movie releases is over.

I got a dvd copy of American Ganster and Invasion from someone when they first came out. Other than that I can’t wait!!!!
I wouldnt count on national treasure 2 if i were you. i mean look at what happened with hitman; it was scheduled to be released on R5 on december 27 (31 days after the theater release) and not it got rescheduled to january 24. so since national treasure 2 was released on december 21 i wouldnt expect an r5 until the end of february

Sorry to bother anyone… but TFK is right you can only truly experience Beowulf on the big screen in 3-d, granted it is still a good movie, I will soon have a Home Theater with a 10 foot screen but it wont be 3-d

But I am very confused about one thing. Stephen King’s the Mist has been out since Dec 7th (dec 3rd if you wanted a crappy cam) And so far not one mention of a workprint or an R5 or even a dvdscr anywhere on the net except for the faked ones.
I know I am asking you to see into the future, but do you think there is a chance that The Mist will be popping up soon as an R5? I can wait for AvP-R (wasnt impressed with it even after the hype) and I can wait for The Water Horse but it does seem a tad strange that a movie that came out a good three weeks before National Treasure 2 is still MIA for an R5.

The links on the right sides of each movie, that say DVDSCR, and TS, and CAM, etc. are links to the DVDSCR, TS, and CAM’s that have been released of that movie. None of these in the list have been released as an R5 before with the exception of The Seeker, Lions for Lambs, and Alvin and the Chipmunks.
But as for the others, they haven’t been released as R5’s yet. The DVDSCR, and CAM words that you see to the left, are telling you what was the latest release for that movie, and it links you to them.
Sorry, in my last post I mean “the DVDSCR, and CAM words that you see to the RIGHT, are telling…”

Thanks Tron, and why would anyone want a R5 or another screener of American Gangster? It came out as a screener before it hit theaters, and with a HD plasma, or LCD tv, and an upconverting dvd player, it looks amazing.

I can’t understand people saying that most of these movies are out already… I mean, ok… maybe they are “out”. But in what quality?? American Gangster’s DVDSCR was nice, but DARK, I’m sure the R5 will be nicer.
The only ones really are lions for lambs, and the seeker. And wasn’t Lions for Lambs a TC anyways? They are made a “bit” different.
Thats just my 2 cents, and more proof that the world will never be a perfect place and some people can never be pleased, or grateful

That’s what I mean. The Mist came out Dec 7th 2007 and it will be on DVD for sale in march of this year…so why the MIA of the R5 or dvdscr? Even Alvin is schedualed to be released as an R5 this month, well before it hits the stores as a dvd.
maybe I am confused but it does seem strange that this one is missing. And from the cam I saw last night, this one is the very first Stephen King adaption that I have seen that does NOT have a cameo of King in it as the rest of his other movies do.

You missed the point. Makes no diff it there was or was not. The point it that it is still to be released this month. The Mist came out well before this and is still MIA for an R5 or dvdscr.

I’ve been waiting to see Hitman cuz I never went to see it, and I was able to see Dan In Real Life at an advanced screening sometime at the start of December, and both Beowulf and National Treasure 2 both look good as well! I watched Alvin & The Chipmunks the day it came out as well, which was good, I’l be sure to pick that bad boy up when that shows its face. Thanks RLSLOG!

Well chances are that Hitman will be in English audio, hopefully! haha Beowulf is a nice, clean quality for an r5 copy, and it released on the right date, I just can’t wait for Hitman!!

plus rlslog is getting slow these days in posting new movies
websites like thegenius.us posts link first and of new moviez likes of cloverfield cam which is not here in rlslog.
and they also encode avi to rmvb also so those who cant download 700 mb or 1.36 gb download movies of 400 or 500 mb

Son im Russian and im sure it is NT 1 and no russian scene sites have realesed Nt 2, and thegenius is ok therebels and filewarez are better, so there will not be an r5 out for a while…

which in the name of the king is worth getting? theres three out? think they are all the russian r5 with different audio, the r55 one i watched had cam ausio and it was horrendous. Any of them got proper audio?
The R5 of “In the name of the King” has been out for a couple of days, and there are RS links floating around. Can anyone confirm? There is no information on Rlslog. The sample I have downloaded has english audio.
yeah the audio is english ,but not very good, it is extremely watchable and perfectly in sync, video is 9/10 audio is 5/10. (that is the r55 version from newtorrents), there is 2 others on their but not seen the quality yet?
