Here’s a small drama film that might be worth looking at. How small? well it has no official webpage. But I’m curious about it, mostly for the good acclaim it has gotten on RT (83%). Besides, you don’t watch drama movies for the special effects, so as long as the movie is well written and well acted, the fact it’s a low budget one shouldn’t matter. Strangely, the movie has a runtime of only 79 minutes. Enjoy.

Synopsis: When Jamie arrives in New York, she can’t find the friend she’s supposed to meet. Instead, she encounters Charlie on a subway platform, and he takes her all over the city in the span of one conversation-filled day.

    QUIET CITY is an amazing film, I don’t know what any of you are talking about. All takes place near where I live in Brooklyn. realistic and better than hollywood and YES, THERE IS A PLOT!!! Why everone gotta hate on great low budget movies? if theyre good?

    This was very similar to “Before Sunrise/Sunset”, but in a less adult way.

    It is obvious some elements in this movie were ripped from “Before Sunrise/Sunset”, most notably the pauses between dialogs where they show you random places of the city.
    They were trying to give it some of the magic feel that worked so well in “Before Sunrise/Sunset”, but this isn’t as good.

    Did I mention “Before Sunrise/Sunset”?
