PANTHEON brings us version 8 of QuarkXPress for the Mac OS. Finally, another Mac app in the scene, these are few and far between. If anyone has used previous versions of this for Mac, you will love what they have done with the UI, complete overhaul. I hope all you Mac users will enjoy!

Requirements:

· G4 Processor / Intel CPU
· Minimum 128MB total RAM
· 230MB available hard disk space for QuarkXPress installation
· TCP/IP network for site license (using Quark License Administrator)
· Optional : PostScript printer with 2MB of RAM.

    Quark Xpress still is the weapon of choice by designers most of the magazines I know in the Netherlands. It has some cool features, feel and looks that imho Indesign still lacks. If you’re into designing leaflets or posters I would recommend Indesign tho.. (it just works seamless and quicker with Photoshop and Illustrator files)

    Quark is ok, but this is the Windows version of it, not the Mac release (unless OS X suddenly uses msi installers)

    The file that is created after joining the split files doesn’t work either on a MAC or a PC!!!
    Tried to rename it to a .dmg as the nfo claims that the file is and nothing happened…
    Also renamed it to various kinds of image files, nothing also was working…

    Do u call this thing a release or am I missing out on smthng here???

    Anyone know how to change language.. Want it in danish, but i cant se how.. It is multilanguage, so i should be able to do it
