Quarantine 2008 TS XviD-THS

Here is an horror flick that’s still at the box office. Its still a cam, but it looks quite watchable. Quarantine is a 2008 American horror film directed by John Erick Dowdle and starring Jennifer Carpenter. The film is a remake of the Spanish horror film [REC].

Television reporter Angela Vidal (Carpenter) and her cameraman (Harris) are assigned to spend the night shift with a Los Angeles Fire Station. After a routine 911 call takes them to a small apartment building, they find police officers already on the scene in response to blood curdling screams coming from one of the apartment units. They soon learn that a woman living in the building has been infected by something unknown. After a few of the residents are viciously attacked, they try to escape with the news crew in tow, only to find that the CDC has quarantined the building. Phones, internet, televisions and cell phone access have been cut-off, and officials are not relaying information to those locked inside. When the quarantine is finally lifted, the only evidence of what took place is the news crew’s videotape.

    Rec was AWESOME! Untill you found out it was just Zombies all along. I’m over Zombie flicks but Rec was very well made non the less and is better than most rubbish horror movies.

    This will no doubt be horrible. Why can’t American be creative FOR ONCE!

    rec was a very good movie
    i watched it withaut any bacground info
    and i guess that way it has the strongest effect

    wery well developed movie for its genre

    oh and well why remake a movie shot by shot???
    seems kind of pointles
    especially because rec isnt even a year old…

    if they were interchangeable, the poster would mention it, usually.

    those above links are wearing different filenames, so i’d assume from that, that they aren’t interchangeable.

    @ 2 + 34… ppl could watch rec or they could get this and watch this … imo rec is better but in all honesty its a shot for shot re-make so theres NO difference… the same stuff happens… watch whichever you want or watch both and compare em it doesnt matter really

    The quality is too bad, audio and video are bad, when the scene comes dark you will not be able to see anything

    @62 There cams are generally better than any you will see the scene groups doing. (Many times they are the same ones since the scene groups take them from THS many times.)

    Either case some of their cams werent so hot… but lately they have been doing some kickass ones.

    Video = 5/10 Movie is shot as though on a hand held camera & then re filming with a hand held camera is not so cool

    Audio = 4/10 - would be OK except for a constant sh!tty static crackling all the way through. Not sure if this was actually an intentional part of the movie but I HATED IT
