Wow, i just woke up and 2 GREAT DVD screeners were released about an hour ago. Here is the first its Quantum of Solace which im sure many of you have been waiting for, i actually just went and saw this at the cinema last nite, so enjoy! (Since this is a DVD screener there is most likely black and white screens in it, not 100% sure though)

A message to the folks at coalition who made this divx from an academy DVD…
The copy protection on some academy screeners (like this one) is difficult to crack.
There are mirrored VOB files on the original DVD and it is impossible to extract the final VOB.
There was the same problem last year on some screeners.
If that is the problem you encountered and the missing 16 minutes at the end was simply from being unable to extract the final VOB file… there is a solution.
The program CLONE CD will allow you to rip the entire DVD as a single img file on your hard drive.
You can’t make a Divx from it without encountering the same problems, but you can make DVD img files from it.
Just remember to share.

HOW THE HELL does someone rip a movie, and not notice 16 MINUTES missing before uploading to the world? They must have not taken the 8 seconds to ‘preview’ it and see a length not matching the original. I HATEEEEEEEE Scene groups that sacrifice quality for speed

Last year there were a number of screeners that the scene was not able to crack… DVDs that had the protection I described…
mirrored files overwhelming most software, convincing most programs that a single DVD contained hundreds of gigabytes, rather than just a few.
As an additional level of protection the last VOB file was unable to be extracted.
Many of those screeners were never released on the scene.
There are those that are reading this comment, who tried to RIP some of these Academy DVDs with the additional protection, that know exactly what I’m talking about.
You obviously do not.
You are dismissing CLONE CD and throwing a personal insult at me becuase you feel it is such a simple primitive program.
That’s the point.
This protection was designed to defeat various complicated ripping and conversion programs.
Its weakness is a simple one to one straight copying program.
A complicated problem with a simple solution that perhaps someone arrogant like you might dismiss.
It works.
So again… to Coalition or whoever has their hands on that original DVD screener…
If the problem was being unable to remove the last VOB file and multiple mirrored files overwhelmig your ripping or conversion programs… try CLONE CD on the original and make an image file on your hard drive.

On one hand its great that we have a watchable screener so soon.

each .rar would need would need be a different size then it would upload i beleive.

top movie – the image on the version i watched seemed a little washed out (lacking color) has ‘for your consideration’ pop up. No black and white or watermarks. A touch overcropped aswell. Try to get a 2cd version IMO – it’s worth it.

First off, I downloaded the Coalition repack and started to watch it.
I immediately noticed the slightly washed-out colors, plus the image seemed a bit dark in general.
Some people also mentioned that it had been over-cropped.
That definatey seems to be the case.
Watch the first scene after the title song, where the “For Your Consideration” message first appears.
The bottom half of this message is cut-off, so clearly a sign of over-cropping.
I’m not moaning, this is free after all, but this is Bond, and I’m going to wait for a top-quality version.
SO, MY QUESTIONS !
Is the Devise version better in all respects (better colors, not over-cropped etc.) ?

After downloading this movie from another site where the links work all i can say is i’m very glad i did not pay to watch this rubbish at the cinima, its just another avarage action flick and just rips off the Bourne movies and that’s very sad, bond is totally humorless and rather dull and the villan is a very very weak character, the best thing about this movie is the music.

The source is good but not for a screener of any sort.The picture was interlaced,dull,colourless
had black borders down the top,bottom and right handside…..also there was some video noise.
The audio was really good though,just a touch on the quiet side.

Correct, we have a troll here, some little tw4t that is reporting every set of links except his own, my set went down, not deleted, they are still in my RS account, but blocked because they could not prove what was in it, but because it had been reported ! which means some little w4nker here reported them. so i will not be posting the links for the STG repack i have already uploaded.
I had somewhat the same idea. I noticed it after the Batman release. I have never seen links drop so fast. I tried d/l links posted 2hrs b4 hand and they were useless. I think some dumb little jerk is reporting the links… Or the companys them selves have caught on.

I did them by hand so they’re not perfect. They are, however, a big improvement on the machine translated subtitles that were floating around in November.
