Pushing Daisies S01E01 PREAIR DVDRip XviD-CRX

It’s not even 5 minutes since group CRX pred a first episode of brand new TV show Pushing Daisies. The official homepage of this project offers a first trailer and short description of the show. The show should be aired every Wednesday at 8:00 on ABC. First reviewers who had a chance to saw the pilot (this episode) give this show a warm feedback and positive reviews. Pilot Buzz Central listed it as the #3 most promising pilot of the fall season for 2007, noting that the show is “beautifully filmed, carefully crafted, and well-acted.” Give it a try and see!

Pushing Daisies is a “forensic fairy tale” that focuses on Ned, a piemaker with the ability to make the dead briefly live again. It’s a gift that he puts in good use to help a private investigator friend, Emerson Cod, solve murders. However, when he uses this gift on his childhood sweetheart, Charlotte “Chuck” Charles, he then learns something new about said gift – if he touches the person again within sixty seconds, they’ll be dead permanently, but if he doesn’t touch them after sixty seconds, someone other than the deceased will die. The show features actor Lee Pace in the central role of Ned. The series reunites Pace with creator Fuller; the two worked together on the critically acclaimed series, Wonderfalls.

Once upon a time, Director Barry Sonnenfeld (Men In Black, Get Shorty, The Addams Family) and Writer-Producer Bryan Fuller (Heroes, Wonderfalls, Dead Like Me) created an unprecedented blend of romance, crime procedural and high-concept fantasy. It is a love story about a young man with a very special gift…the ability to return someone dead briefly back to life with just a simple touch.

Downloaded it to check it out, as I do with most new series, and it was so disappointing.I guess I can’t expect much from someone who writes drivel like Heroes, Wonderfall, and Dead like me. I wish there was a 0 star option so I could vote for that.

Best show I’ve seen in a long time. Beautiful sets, quirky plots, and fun characters. Not a drama, but a bitter sweet comedy.
