I hate when people whine about a crack… Most scanners always show a false-positive on cracks… So get ur self something a little less paranoid and smoke a big fatty while patching the crack to this game… You know how many times i’ve sat in front of my computer worried over nothing?!

should see a program like SETUP_VER1 – MAKE SURE YOU DELETE THAT!!!
Then get AVG or Kaspersky installed quick!

OK tested #56 under AVG and NOD 32 this time and works fine.

Though the game has some problem with Vista 64, it won’t f*cking load up at all until i alt+tab out and then once it’s created a save file it won’t load at all and ends up crashing after a few mins.

Awaiting a patch for Vista. :’(

Couldn’t get CloneDVD to work. Copied couple cracks over,but a message with an error (send report to Microsoft) would not let me start a game,plus I got a virus with lots of nasty icons on desktop and black wallpaper. Some of my icons on desktop just vanished away,just be careful with cracks (so many of them here now)

Any way to fix the ridiculous loading times in vista x64? I gave up on that game, ~10 minutes to load on QUAD CORE + 4GB RAM and RAID drives… makes no sense!

(And reverting to XP is a no go… DX10…and won’t use third party dodgy dx drivers thx…)

First: Always use sandboxie, and always scan everything on virustotal.com. (“this is clean” with 9 hits out of 36 IS NOT CLEAN!!!!!!)
Second. @ RYO and the other vista bashers… I care about dx10 and so do A LOT of people. Especially people that have 4gb of ram or more/have buff vid cards or both. XP x64 is joke.

Yes, I have xp on my system.. but not one single game loaded onto it, and I boot into XP about once a week.
Guess it pays to dual boot. Maybe you vista haters should buy a pc that has parts that within 2 years of age or newer and dual boot. Get a real video card too.

@105 – Indeed, Vista bashers don’t seem to realise there’s nothing wrong with the OS… only a few occurances where the dev’s of games like this don’t realise a lot of people with decent rigs use 64 bit, specifically Vista since XP64 is a joke. And running XP standard is a waste of a decent computer.

Ryo, everyone has different systems, so everyone will have different experiences…

I’m running Vista64 home premium and apart from the initial UAC annoyances, which are easily gotten rid of and the new and awful windows explorer which i replaced with XYplorer for main duties, it’s been a pleasure to use. Stable and extremely fast with far less maintenance to keep that way. Just running perfectdisk occasionally and Defender/Spybot. Haven’t had a single driver problem or incompatibility and am running a good deal of the latest games. I’m sure i would have problems if i tried a 16bit product, but why would i need to?

That must be because YOU actually DON’T use your computer properly. Apart from DX10+ in a year from now, there is not enough arguments to use Vista. Everybody that uses an OS as a launchpad for work or fun is fine with 32-Bit XP on latest hardware. You should start doing something more useful than staring at your taskbar and those glowing buttons. I use XP in classic look, btw

whoever thinks vista is worthed has to change hobby its the most heavy system hog ever created on a same spec machine u do loose up to 15 fps minimum for everygame released there are hundreds of test out there that show that so why waste resources when on dx10 games is the hardest thing on the word to spot the differences,m$ of that more then some users infact they launch windows 7 in the hope to regain customers loose on vista, it isnt a coincidence that almost all the systems solds with vista preinstalled had from multiple brands released a disc to revert em to Xp……

I think the long loading times have to do with the crack.
If you press Alt-Tab to return to Windows it loads a lot faster.Just wait to hear the sound and switch back to the game.

The Loading times are because of the V-Sync…

turn the V-Sync off and it will be as fast as the game

you’ll find it in your Graphics software configuration

System Specs :
Intel Core 2 Duo @2.83GHz x2
2gb Corsair expert DDR
Geforce 8800GT 500mb Ram
Windows Vista Home Premium SP1

Load times were at 5 to 10 minutes between races and even when only trying to get back to the main menu.

Using 2 tricks posted on here by other users ive been able to enjoy this game with reduced load times.

If you use GPU open up your Nvidia control panel and choose 3D options and make sure V-Sync Is either set to OFF or set to allow application to Choose.

10 mins load times down to 5 mins just from changing this from V-Sync always ON.

to get them load times down to under 3 minutes just as the game starts to load go ahead and click the windows key on your keyboard and go back to the desktop. you will hear the game sounds playing when the game has finished loading. click PURE on the taskbar and continue to play.

This games not really my cup of tea, but I’ve tested it and the game is also dual monitor compatible, although the bike sits dead centre of view most of the time. which ruins it.

Long load times & no AA!… in this day of age?

I turned V-Sync off and its now less than 30 sec instead of 3-5 minutes loading time.

game run fast even on a Pentium4 2.8GHz, 1GB RAM and GeForce 7600GS 256MB.
Loading times is not that slow as people keep saying.

Hi guys, i need some help here please… I downloaded and installed the program. But when i try to start it, it says: ”This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect, Reinstalling the … ” I tried to reinstall it, but nothing has changed.
