Public Enemies TELESYNC XviD-ORC
Here is the first scene release of the highly anticipated Public Enemies and its TELESYNC from ORC. I was actually expecting to see the release of this movie a lot earlier since its been in cinemas for a few days now, i cant wait to see this movie but im going to watch it at cinema since i think it will be awesome! 
Public Enemies is a true story 2009 crime film directed by Michael Mann and based on the non-fiction book by Bryan Burrough. Set during the Great Depression, it focuses on the true story of FBI agent Melvin Purvis’s attempt to stop criminals John Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson, and Pretty Boy Floyd. Quality wise the video is pretty nice for a TS but it looks like its been heavily cropped and the sound isnt too bad for a TS. Enjoy!

To all those who want to know what the quality is like, and aren't convinced at the sample, I will tell you. It is cropped, and by my measurements, by about yay 15 percent. The audio is very clear, much like an R5 release but not DVD quality. The visual is very clear, as clear as it would appear if you were watching it on the big screen, except for the "croppage." Compared to a DVD release, and I download most releases, I'd say it's comparable to DEViSE's Bronson TS release – very sharp. I only wish ALL TS releases were like this one.

@107 clearly stated in the initial post that the rar files are the "proper fix" and have been attached to nearly every set of links in here.
Did STG's release fix the horrible cropping issues or is the Colour just better. honestly I am finding this release hard to enjoy when half the time you only have the actors eyes on the screen and he rest is horribly cropped out.

No STG used the same source. Just re-encoded it and cleaned it up. So the cropping is the same

#130 – I'd say your assessment of the cropping is pretty accurate. For a film like this, a 640×272 footprint would be proper. STG's is 640×240. But even that isn't accurate. It wasn't until I altered that to 640×200 did I get an accurate display – meaning 72 pixels are missing (from the bottom of the frame). That footprint is 73.5% of what it should be – or, a 36.5% overcrop.
The one nice thing about Universal films is that their "Earth" logo opening always shows it as circular. It wasn't until I resized the depth to 200 that I finally got a circular Earth logo.
Having said all that, however, I was impressed with the quality of the 73.5% that was delivered. The audio wasn't all that bad, either. So, while it's accurate to say the overcropping was bad, it's also accurate to say it's probably the best available version (so far).
personally id wait for a new release as orc has sync problems and stg's version is way overly cropped..

Having watched this now, I would definitely recommend AGAINST this version due to the cropping. FWIW, I'm usually the last one to complain about quality on these things since I can't afford movie tickets lately, and because of that I appreciate whatever I get. BUT, on this release, any scene involving a closeup you get to hear the dialog, but you can't see their mouths moving because EVEN THE FREAKING MOUTHS ARE CROPPED OUT!! It's actually kinda funny, like a bizarre cinema verite release…HA! Shame, cos the rest of the quality on it is great for an early release. Anyhow, that's my take for anyone that's still thinking about it.
