WOW, what a day its been for movie releases today! ROAR once again with another SCREENER this time its of the highly rated “Public Enemies”, quality wise its pretty similar to the last 2 SCREENERS from ROAR, so personally on a film like this ill wait for some better quality but check out the sample and decide for yourself. Public Enemies is a true story 2009 crime film directed by Michael Mann and based on the non-fiction book by Bryan Burrough. Set during the Great Depression, it focuses on the true story of FBI agent Melvin Purvis’s attempt to stop criminals John Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson, and Pretty Boy Floyd.

In the action-thriller Public Enemies, acclaimed filmmaker Michael Mann directs Johnny Depp, Christian Bale and Academy Award® winner Marion Cotillard in the incredible and true story of legendary Depression-era bank robber John Dillinger (Depp)the charismatic bank robber whose lightning raids made him the number one target of J. Edgar Hoovers fledgling FBI and its top agent, Melvin Purvis (Bale), and a folk hero to much of the downtrodden public. No one could stop Dillinger. No jail could hold him. His charm and audacious jailbreaks endeared him to almost everyonefrom his girlfriend Billie Frechette (Cotillard) to an American public who had no sympathy for the banks that had plunged the country into the Depression.

    …oh I wish it looked a little better….

    …at least it`s not cropped within an inch of its life like the previous release was but it still looks a bit crappy.

    I dunno maybe it will look better from a bit further away than the 8 1/2 inches from the screen I am now.

    Is there still anyone who uses VHS tapes yet!!!? I dont wanna sound like an ungrateful bastard but the quality of all these VHS Screeners sucks big time! I think i'll pass them and please put image samples in all of them if its possible because if quality is like in this one its not worth even downloading the sample!

    yes i have seen better telesyncs also, matter of fact the orc version if it wasn't cropped so bad that would have been better but it was cropped so i will take this and or hopefully a descent re-encoding of this may surface, maybe not and the quality is very low for even these kind of standards but i don't own a plasma tv so for me that doesn't even matter as all… i may watch it like this i may not, who knows, and honestly, people should enjoy these why they last, or, just wait for something better, but in these instances right now i'll take what i can get… it's up to you guys out there…

    The quality is so bad you can't even read the lines following
    '1933'.

    Not worth the dl. ORC's cam is better, even with the cropping.
