Active group RUiNS brings us the R5 release of Prom Night, I haven’t seen the movie, and haven’t a good rating on IMDb, but if you like terror movies, you can have a try, this is a hight budget film, with about $18 million production costs. Quality it’s good, the usual for a R5, enjoy!

Wow that’s 18 million well spent. Seriously, this movie is average at it’s best. It’s the kind of movie you’ll watch if there’s nothing better to do, it has better moments few times…

lol, why is everybody posting rs links? torrents are faster.
People, if there’s something you should learn about imdb ratings is that none of them are reliable. People either vote 1 or 10, and vote on movies without seeing them. Plus, the imdb ratings are wrong in general.
The reason this has a low rating on IMDb is probably because it’s a remake and it’s PG-13, so people voted 1.
It’s a very good movie IMO. Don’t be fooled by some Imdb rating. Come on…

when torrents are not available (either by your isp,network admins w/e or you just cant find it) and you cant find adrive flyupload or the like and you dont have a RS account just use upload jocky rlslog is kind enough to link us to it for almost evey one of there posts………
the static problem lasts about 20 seconds at the end of the movie, right before the credits roll it stops. it doesnt totally ruin the movie but it is a little annoying
This looks so RATED to me. And its only 85 min. Even the PG13 is 88 min. I am watching the movie and in all the gor scenes i barely see some blood and the scenes looks so cut.

Im gonna check this out can’t be worse than the happening, and i was one of the ones who didn’t believe it sucked till i saw it myself…just thought everyone else was stupid.

Ok, while I appreciate the movie and the links (my thanks to everyone who provide these), would it be out of line to suggest that if something is posted and then posted again and called unrated or extended,could there be something to tell us what the difference between the two are so we know if we want to download this or not?
The UNRATED parts are in russian. They even dubbed the screams. There is no nudity and no extra cursing in it. The reason the audio gliches is when it switches between the unrated and rated, since they do no have english unrated audio and it is hard to get it just right. And I am guessing the static at the end is do to low capture for the unrated. The movie is a b-rated horror glossed over by a major studio
I forgot to add that the unrated is mostly just extended death scenes (judging by when it switches from english to russian), still PG13 if I was rating it. Three stabs and the person is dead, not very lifelike (Thats not a major spoiler since it happens within the opening of the movie.) This and the happening are at the top of my list for worst movies of 2008.

I saw this one in theatres opening weekend, it was alright… Unfortunately, it failed to scare me. When you see a scene, you immediately thihnk something’s going to pop out at you, and surprise, it’s exactly what you expected. They made every scene have somehting try to scare you, they forced it. However, they did have an $18,000,000 budget, and you see every penny of it in this film… It was only ok to me; not exactly my cup of tea. Thanks for the link RLSLOG

Anyone else know for sure? The Nuke is stupid…the audio glitching is at the very end and doesn’t wreck the movie.

Really bad film, a pointless PG-13 “horror”, has barely any gore or tension, absolutely no nudity too. Just plain bad.

This is adreadful film. Quality etc is fine but this brings nothing new to the genre. It’s amazing that filmmakers can spend money and come up with something so formulaic and dreadful. Nothing worth watching at all

this movie adds ABSOLUTELY NOTHING NEW INTO THE GENRE…actually…IT TAKES A HUGE STEP BACKWARDS.
man this movie probably has the most unoriginal, bloodless and boring kills in whole movie history along with the most boring villain and the most annoying rich teens as well…i mean those teens-about-to-be-slashed are always annoying but i swear i didnt even watched this movie to the end coz i was extremely bored and annoyed.
