AVG is known to get you lots of false positives. most keygens are identified as virus, trojan, backdoor etc. make sure to recheck with a service like totalvirus.com and see what the average result is.

To anyone saying the patch.exe is a virus/worm, I scanned with Norton and Mcafee and did not detect anything. Maybe its a false alarm.

its funny. i was thinkgin that something like this would be probably easy to do. patch a worm into a cd-key retriever to get more cd-keys.

but what’s funny is; that most ppl who would download this owuld be using wares version of stuff as well! except maybe windows..

To echo other comments, the Agobot worm is detected after the patch.

“The AGOBOT worm connects to an Internet Relay Chat (IRC) server and acts as a bot program, allowing remote users to manipulate infected machines and launch a denial of service (DoS) attack against other IRC users. This worm may also act as a backdoor server and allow remote users to access and manipulate infected systems directly using a corresponing client application.”
