GOW released a new version of Prison Tycoon. This time it’s number 4, made by Valusoft.

Description:

Build a profitable privately run prison from the ground up.  Every wall, every fence, every decision is yours.  Start small and forge your reputation as a first rate warden.  Grow your facility to SuperMax capabilities, housing the most dangerous and diabolical criminals on earth – all for the bottom line.

  • If you build it… Manage the layout, construction, and equipping of your lockdown.  Every choice determines the safety and respectability of your prison.
  • Us vs Them – Staff your prison from guards to rehabilitation experts.  Your decisions and budgets govern your team’s morale and overall performance.
  • Break ‘em Down – Manage the security levels throughout your prison.  Too strong a grip can explode in prisoner riots – too weak and the gangs will run your stir.
  • Bad to the Bone! Lock up the worst of the worst in the NEW Restricted Access Quarters for 23 hours a day with 1 hour for outside exercise.
  • Someone’s Gotta Pay! Build prisoner factories to bring in some extra income to help keep the prisons finances healthy.
  • Be the Big Boss! Determine your prisoner’s fate – release your prisoner on parole or keep them locked up for the safety of society (and your pocketbook)

    Prisons are run for PROFIT. Why do you think the US has more people in Prison than High School graduates? USA is the #1 in the world of imprisoning its own population. Yes thats #1 as in we put more people in prison than China, Russia, Iran, etc.

    It actually costs the government more to execute a convict, than keep them incarcerated. This privately owned prison premise is full of abnormalities. By keeping inhuman or savage
    convicts alive and confined is actually generous to everybody included. Incidentally playing this game may encourage illicit individuals not to commit crime to avoid the environment depicted within the game.

    I can make up statistics too. Your mother has f*cked more donkeys than there are high school graduates in China. Don’t just spout off ridiculous bullshyt information trying to prove a point or sound smart.

    There are 1.96M prisoners in the US, certainly high but hardly anywhere CLOSE to the number of high school graduates, what a joke. China, really? China has been notorious about lying in statistical evaluations about everything from AIDS rates, pregnancy rates, standard of living, etc… you really think their number is accurate? And Iran? You wanna move there? You do realize that in Iran, sex out of wedlock is considered a crime punishable by death, right?

    The U.S. does have a prison problem, mainly because of its totally ineffective ‘war on drugs’… but you really chose some bad points to argue against.

    @35 PaulyPaycheck You can burn it to a disc using imageburn or a simular program or mount it with daemon tools or alcohol 120 and install it that way. Hope that helps.

    Look nobody’s against locking up rapists, murders etc. but what is wrong is making profit off “ordinary” prisoners. It really is just slavery.     Stalker Clear Sky is on NTI. Gaming section of rlslog has been very slow to update. I guess the new mods aren’t much gamers :(

    Why would anyone waste their time whith this game? The graphics look horrible, the plot is stupid and whats the objective of the game? To imprison ppl… Why dont you make garbage collector simulation or Bakery tycoon. And here i thought Cruise Liner Simulator was the worst game ever made. Obviously i was wrong!

    But let’s look at the bigger picture guys and girls! If they make these games obviously they think that people will buy them. And they are not totally wrong. Some idiot out there with a complex to have power will buy it…

    I dont even see a point in downloading this.

    - there is only one cheat i know of; and found so far

    – build a building, once it is fully contructed pause the game. then demolish it. as long as you keep the game paused you can keep demolishing the same building receiving X money back .. the more expensive the building the more money back

    – there is meant to be a minor bug with this, one building; this doesnt work
