Prison Break Season 4 is Coming
I felt like sharing this article with you guys as Prison Break is one of my favorite TV shows of all time, and the third season was pretty damn good even though the writer’s strike caused the season to end abruptly. Its technically unofficial, I know, but the executive producer dropped word on the fact that its picked up so I’d say it will most likely start airing in the fall 
[UPDATE–March 25] Fox made it official today: Prison Break is coming back for a fourth season. The network also confirmed that production will move from Dallas to Los Angeles. Original story follows.
For a show that was once primed to be a short-lived miniseries, Prison Break sure is exceeding its life expectancy. The Fox drama wrapped up its third season earlier this year, and fans of the show have been eagerly awaiting word on a fourth-season pickup.
Fans will still have to wait for official word on a fourth-season pickup, but for those who only need unofficial word, news over the weekend was great. On his MySpace blog, Prison Break executive producer Nick Santora dished this bit of info: Season four has been picked up.
Santora also confirmed the Prison Break crew’s move from the Dallas, Texas area to its new digs in Los Angeles. Though Santora notes his new office on the Fox lot is “about half the size with just a tiny window,” he’s stoked about the opportunity to be back in business with the people he likes.
Details on season four’s storyline have not yet been released. Last season saw the characters incarcerated in a Panamanian prison.

Never watched this show because I knew it would just be them running on and on after they break out and then get taken back in, and then maybe break out again. Got that sounded boring

I’ve read Sarah Tancredi’s character is back for the 4th season (guess she wasn’t dead after all…). Sarah Wayne Callies has apparently signed on fulltime for the 4th season. I skipped series 3 but I might start watching it again now!

a good friend of mine came home from doing 4 years in a fed cell. he said that when it came to the tv there was constantly fights and arguments about what to watch, even said he seen a guy take a pencil in the neck over what to watch, but this (and anything with half naked women) was the only thing everyone could agree on. i dont like it, but most tv doesnt intrest me, except for adult swim. squidbillies is the worst show ive ever seen, but i cant help but watch it.

Maybe the reason you can’t stand this show, is the writers know how to spell and write in proper English. If you’re going to attack someone or something, at least learn some basic grammar so we don’t have to read between lines of ignorance.
First two seasons were very well done but lost interest in season three. Killing off one of the main characters between seasons is completely unacceptable. As I recall the kid (lincoln’s son) said that he saw susan b decapitate sarah. Any plot twist that brings her back onto the show will be a farce. Really think the show should have wrapped up after season 2.
Prison Break is simply great story telling!
let me give a example how lame this show is the entire season there are saying sarah is death lincon saw here head in box! and now the producers saying well lincon didnt get a good glimp of the head, so it wasnt there.. come onnnnn how lame is that and what the fck they want to bring sarah back she can´t act.

Prison Break is a terrible terrible show and everyone knows it. Season 1 was excellent until the “second half” and the rest has been rubbish as well. Bad acting, ridiculously bad story, and a plot that goes nowhere.
Every episode involves something that’s going to happen, builds up to it, and then by the end of that episode the plan is foiled and they’re back to square one. That is literally every single episode of season 3.
THAT BEING SAID: I absolutely love this show and download it in 720p every week. Just because it’s awful doesn’t mean it isn’t entertaining. My sister and I laugh and ridicule whenever Michael ‘cries’ and we enjoy the ride for the rest.
Can’t wait.

Everyone? The network doesn’t seem to think so. Otherwise there wouldn’t be a Season 4. The network approved on Season 4 because obviously there are people who think that it is worth watching. So I think you might be wrong in saying that everyone knows/thinks that it is a “terrible terrible show”
I agree that Season 1 was the best season and the next seasons were soso with season 3 being the ‘worst’ of the 3. But that is the general trend with tv shows as with movies. It’s hard to beat the 1st season if it was a hit. Take 24, Lost, Sopranos
for example, the first seasons were ‘masterpieces’ compared to the last few.
Wouldn’t it be weird when they sell the dvd season packs in the future, but with season 3 being “eleventeen” episodes short?

I like this show, although I’m not nuts about it. The first season was the best, then season 2 was the aftermath. Season 3 felt like season 1 with a different setting.
It’s probably not the show’s fault; in fact writers have a hard job. They are capable of great writing but they always have the fear that their show will get cancelled the next season. This results in story telling that is disjointed and at times confusing. The opposite happens with shows that are never expected to be extremely popular but end up being popular anyways - they end up having to make a second season but the story as a whole never really goes anywhere.
If I ran a network (in my perfect world) shows would get as many seasons as is necessary for good, continuous story telling. Shows will not get pulled, nor will they get new seasons. The storyline is always the most important thing for me (sometimes even in porno!) and current network practices suck.
oh. BSG Rules and bring back The 4400!!
First season was kind of okay, second season was bullsh** and the third season was nothing but an unbelievably huge pile of crap. FOX sucks balls (for renewing this)

They did document his tattoo’s you muppet but they were in code which they hard to try and break when they were chasing him.
This show rocks, admittedly season 3 was the weakest of the 3 but that is because the first one was so good, i personally cant wait for it to be back on.

Season 3 began poorly and only really picked up in the final few episodes in which it almost vindicated itself. I’m not sure how much longer they can string out such a thin plot line, but I’m sure they will give it a go!

I love this show, mostly cos of the relationships between Schofield and Linc and Sarah. Yeah season 3 wasn’t the best but I’m new Sarah hadn’t actually died in the show cos that would just be stupid, looking forward to her return in S4. As for other shows which people say are better like Sopranos, the wire, oz etc, it’s different strokes for different folks. I find those shows far too crass and none of the characters appeal
PB S1 was just superb, made it tough for S2 and S3 to match up with the expectation set real high - but what the heck, PB and Heroes are still the most entertaining sht to happen on TV. I’ll love the next seasons (there was a wikipedia article that there were 6 seasons in plan) !!

I don’t understand why people continue to like this show. It’s become totally predictable! There is a “twist” every foot step he takes. It’s so predictable you just know something will ALWAYS be different from how it is “supposed” to go down. They should lock this up and throw away the key.
But then it would escape. Only to be caught again. Then it will escape. Then it will.. oh I’m going to go buy pizza instead
i think pb is brilliant the 1st season was fantastically written the 2nd even better 3rd not as good but im sure the writers have a great storyline in s4 cant wait 2 c it best thing thats been on tv in ages wentworth miller and dominic percell are phenomenal actors the writers have a very creative imagination would b nice 2 c somethin slightly different in s4 tho

omg I love the way that people say theyre dragging pb out when they have the cheek to leave programmes like lost (which i also like) alone….>>> polar bears, the dead returning, a giants foot etc. Why are some people on here debating the likelihood of storylines that have been used ffs, its an action/ drama television programme, NOT an accurate depiction of real life. Sarahs return can easily be viable if your not too stubborn to think about it. The company has unlimited funding therefore how hard could it be to replicate a head? lincoln looked at it for a few secs before looking away in disgust, he didnt take it out and check it lmao and lj may have seen SOMEONE being decapitated which we’ll probs see in a flashback: lj’s view from behind and then a further flashback from the front showing that it was not in fact sarah at all. TBH I loved season 1, it was flawless. Season 2 was not crap, it was fast paced and the story telling was amazing along with the story development itself; and no way was it predictable. Are you telling me that you knew kellerman was going to help the brothers, or did you know that michael was going to confront the president for a pardon/ her then stepping down to prevent it from happening. If that was all so predictable along with other sotrylines I must be really stupid, and guess what, im not
Season 3 started a bit rocky but half way into it the story really picked up and it stopped being inconsistent. I was practically shouting run when they was all in the tunnel ready to run above ground lol. Again, the fact that there were many failed attempts added to the suspense. Season 4 should definitely conclude the show, depite me and many others wanting it to continue much longer. Season 4 has been set up fairly well i.e. how will the whistler/ gretchen/ mahone story unfold, will michael get revenge before finding out that sarah is in fact alive, what will happen to lj and lincoln i.e. will they leave michael in order to settle down, what will happen to sucre and those still left in sona, and what are the companies objectives/ interest in micheal. Micheal rappaport has also been added to the cast and he is amazing in the war at home so that should also be pretty good. I cant friggin wait for the next season, but for those who evidently dont like it, stop whining about it because you are too stupid/ arrogant to enjoy it. Season 4 woooooooooop!!!

This is my favorite show ever. However, I hope Season 4 will make it come to an ending, it gets a little boring when they drag shows on forever!

I am just curious as to whether there is any significant correlation between terrible grammer/truly poor spelling and those posting such negative comments about a show that is watched and loved by millions. I mean, no one is trying to convince you to watch the show if you don’t like it. But leave it at that. Why display your own ignorance in an attempt to discourage others from watching?
